Views from the Smaragdi studios are excellent, however all 3 rooms that my family occupied were dirty and basic ammenities were poor or non existant. Crockery was chipped, sink plugs were missing, showers were broke and toilets did not flush properly. The toilet paper bins were not emptied everyday and were left for 3 days on one occasion. I had to ask for clean towels after three days and although they were brought there was an air of reluctance. The pool had a scum mark all the way round, dead insects were not removed very often from it and great care was needed when walking around it as tiles were chipped and loose. Also, it was rowdy at times. I would not recommend these studios to any one.

The facilities are basic but let's face facts, the views and location are amazing.The rooms are kept clean and linen is changed regularly. The location ensures there are no unruly passersby and the peace and tranquility is reassuring.The owner and his staff are polite,friendly and will do anything to ensure you have a good stay.I have visited this particular place on 10 occasions now.The approach to this property is a steep hill but can be managed at a leisurely pace and the views make the effort worthwhile
