Location
the rooms were kept spotless every day by the maids and the whole complex was always clean and tidy, the staff very friendly.
Loved the location as it was close enough to the bars and restaurants but far enough to not cause any noise from them, didnt really go in the bar in the hotel though as we preferred to wander about and see more of the resort.
Did i say i cant wait to go again? :)

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. no trouble at all getting a sunbed around the pool. the pool bar was great for snacks. Apartment was very spacious and clean. aeroplane noise was no problem whatsoever, in fact it was great to see them coming into land so close.
Hotel was in great location and would recommend it highly for a great family holiday.
Have already booked again for next year. Top class!

Very safe for little kids! The pool area was great and there is grassed are with play equipment for the little ones.
The bar over looks the play area or you can take your drink down to watch the kids. The restaurants were all really good and provided well for the children. Over all Kalamaki is a lovely clean friendly place to holiday and topped off with a great stay at this hotel.
It is suitable for all ages from young to old! We were never satisfied with our holidays before, this time we returned feeling that we had had a holiday for once!!!!!

Everyones so nice and friendly, everything you need is at hand. best ever restaurant is just up the road, the Artimas, Spyros and his family own it they fed up for 2 weeks.
Rooms are cleaned 2/3 times and week, the cleaner don't disturb you if you want a lay in. Lola who works at the bar during the day time is very nice and understand English very well. There enough for all age ground to do, and the beach is 5 minutes away. From the airport it take about 10 minutes to get to apartments.
If you want a good night out after your meal go to down under bar where you will be entertained till about 4 in the morning young children welcome to. Bar are not fussed about age law on alcohol, and the police don't both with laws either when regarding the helmets on bikes/quads. Greece drivers will cut you up and no one gives way at junctions.
Kalamaki is the nicest place to be on this island and we drove round it in about 4/5 hours. If you want to go wild then go to Laganas. Just enjoy yourselves, we did...

We found our accomodation to be very clean and comfortable, staying in a 1 bedroomed 2nd floor room (B25)
The cleanliness of the apartments is first class, bed and towels changed 5 out of 7 days. Maids work very hard to keep the place spotless. Rooms could benefit from having a toaster( 2 ring hob only).
Our balcony had the sun all afternoon, fine in the May temp of around 25-27 degrees, probably unbearable in the height of the summer.
No need for air conditioning at night time in May, Mossies quite troublesome, rememeber your plug ins!
Pool area nice, plenty of sun beds available. Staff very pleasant, always had a smile.
Didn't stay in for evening entertainment, so cant comment, however all entertainment well advertised.
Short walk to the beach, found this cooler as there was a nice sea breeze, nice walk along the beach to Laganas( 35-40 minutes along the waters edge)" sunbeds cost 7 euros , well worth it for the day

Receptionists both very helpful, Pannos the barman, superb (good taste in shirts!).
Aeroplane noise not a problem (flying starts about 09:00am and stops at 22:00pm).
Loads of sunbeds.
Would definately stay at this hotel again.

The staff are very helpful and always had a smile,Linda on reception is very helpful she is English but now lives on the Island with her family.
I would recommend this hotel, the Breakfasts are very nice, and outside the hotel you are spoilt for choice when eating out in the evening.
Hire a car and visit some of the villages, you can tour the island in a day.
My family and I will definitely use this accomodation again.

Close enough to the beach and a small walk to lots of lovely tavernas. Can recommend the Olive Tree, great food and lovely staff!
Only downside is air conditioning which is 8 euros a day, however if you pay for a couple of days quite often they do not turn off straight away so you get some free days!
Also if you have a late check out you will be asked to move rooms on your last day and for us it was to a tiny room not suitable for our needs. Other than this I have to say fantastic holiday and would have not hesitation in recommending.

The gardens are also large and well maintained, you will always see someone working on them.
There is plenty of room by the pool, unlike others we saw, and you can lie on sunbeds listening to music from the pool bar, or sit in the shade by the pool bar watching the swimming pool.
Linda on reception is brilliant, you can ask her anything and she will do her best to help you.
We also thought location was good, just under 10 min walk to beach, 2 min to beginning of strip and 20 min walk to end of strip.
A brilliant holiday was had by all and would definitely return here again.

Our apartment was HUGE, and spotless throughout the stay. Quite basic but perfectly adequate and you even got a shower curtain a holder for the shower head AND a none slip mat.
Plenty of utensils and equipment although no wine glasses ? ! Fresh towels and sheets every 3 days. We had cause to complain about an ant problem and were immediately given spray, which solved the prob straight away.
Pool snack bar okay alothough only stays open until 6.30pm, which was a pain sometimes. I'm afraid we only frequented the pool one day out of 10 as Kalamaki is all about the beaches and not a pool. The bar was nicely decked out and stayed open late but again we didn't partake in drinking there more than once as too many places to eat and drink in the resort.
Entertainment was aplenty if Karaoke, Bingo and The Price Is Right was your cup of tea ? !
Great location, easy walk to Kalamaki main beach and the resort, but far enough away not to be disturbed. As for Aircraft noise and planes generally....it was minimal and all the brochures warn of this because realistically the airport is in Kalamaki. Even if you aren't into planes it was a real thrill to see and hear them. NO flights fly in or out between 10pm and 6am so no disturbance at all.
We would stay here again although we also saw many, many nice places nearby we would like to try in the future.
Only complaints were the astronomical charges for air con, imposed at 5 - 8 Euro a day. Plus the fact there were lots of rules posted up around the place. The most galling being about no fans being allowed in the apartments. You can hire a fan in the resort shops for a couple of Euros a day and to be honest this is always preferable to air con for us anyway, but we were too worried about the flak we might get and the thought of hiding it every day before the cleaner arrived was too much of a pain.
