Hotel Cleanliness: we arrived to a dirty room with a view of a building site and sound effects to match! and of course asking to change rooms was impossible and we had to put up with two days of it before being moved to the quieter side of the hotel away from the construction!
Hotel Food: if you have no taste buds and no desire to know what you are eating then you will be fine. On the other hand if you expect something better than cold left over food and chips with every meal then dream on. Oh and dont hold out hope for snacks, and this hotel's idea of snacks is cold left over chips from meals and frozen sandwiches! oh and service at the bar? Dream on - you might actually get your monies worth from the bar if they served you and they cant possibly have that can they!
Hotel Location : I must admit the location is not too bad although it is someway from the beach.
Hotel Staff : when the staff have the attitude that nothing is there problem, it does not bode well for a good relationship. We were shouted at by hotel staff for requesting to change room, asking for AC and asking for television remotes - all things that allegedly come with the hotel!!! then they attempted to charge us for this! and then the real diamond; we asked for towels one evening at 8.00 and some toilet roll as the cleaning staff had finally decided to clean our rooms, taking with them towels and toilet rolls without replacing them. apparently at 8 in the evening this is not something that the hotel staff can help us with, and quote "not their problem". Such nice staff evidently! and furthermore! the manager then called us into his room and lectured us for giving his staff a hard time - as a group of 20 something professionals, to say we found this patronising is an understatement! still most typical of this nightmare holiday!

The hotel is all brand new but I can't help thinking that as the season wears on and the hotel fills up the decor will begin to fail and neither the staff nor the infrastucture will be able to cope. The complex is too small for the amount of rooms.
The food quality was repetitive but edible. However it did not get replenished sufficiently to feed all. Cutlery, crockery and glasses were always in short supply. Snacks were a ready made frozen sandwich or chips.
There was absolutely no entertainment programme,(unless you count the building work continuing around the hotel. These areas were open with tools, wires etc clearly within reach of small hands. There was also an abundance of local workers hanging around). The pool table was out of order and the table tennis table was in pieces. A small plastic playhouse was being put together as we left.
The spa is beautiful and was free when open which was very rare however it will be 15 Euros a day when properly open.
No plugs for the baths and you have to balance holding the shower as it just sits on the taps. Aparently plugs were cut off after the hotel drains flooded when somebody took a bath!
Thank goodness the weather was superb or it would have been awful!

The majestic was a very very nice hotel, newly refurbed and extremely clean.The food was good, (usual all inclusive) but always served hot and fesh. The management we thought were excellent, and the bar staff always friendly, we agree that on the evenings you did have to wait some times for a drink as there was only one bar staff on, but having said that this did not cause us a problem. We both really enjoyed our holiday and meet some fantasic people, we aree that something could have been done about the evening entertainment, but having said that, on the last week the hotel did try and put some entertainment on i.e quizz and bingo, but the majority of people did not want to join in (to their loss) all in all excellent hotel, excellent holiday.

Hotel opened from work 21 days before we got there,some small works still going on but did not cause a major problem.
you cannot put toilet paper down the loo instead you use a bin this is common all over this part of the world,however some did and one our second day sewage came up from the drain in the bath room and flooded our room. we were told they would clean it and they did but it stank so we were moved to another room were the air con had not been fitted yet.
That said we enjoyed the stay it was relaxing,however because all inclusive have to wait for drinks and food runs out and have to wait for replacement,really do need to do some customer service training for the bar & serving staff, cleaners and reception staff were very good. bar staff serve the girls first and think they are gods gift to women
