My 79 year old father was given chicken that hadn’t been cooked.
He ended up in hospital and diagnosed with food poisoning.
The rep and the hotel choose to ignore.
Other guest had similar issues.
Lovely place avoid food.

the rooms are cleaned everyday, sheets and towels changed evry 2nd day. room modern although bathroom could do with propper shower, nightmare trying to wash your hair with a shower atachment!
always spare sunbeds around the pool, pool bar staff were sound! with nice cocktails.

This hotel is very clean and in a good position. We had a side sea view which was fine. The rooms are small and the en-suite is tiny but clean. The balconys are very close together with no privicy.
The towels were only changed once in the week but the maids were in every day.
The safety deposit box was 10 euros and if we wanted air con we would have had to pay but it wasnt needed.
There are not a lot of british tourists there and the staff on reception are not very friendly and speak limited English.
There is no entertainment at all.
We did not lie at the pool but there seemed to be no available beds anyway!
We also refused to pay 5 euros to use a sunbed on the grassy area or 8 euros for a sunbed on the beach in front of the hotel so we walked a few mins down the beach where the sunbeds were free.
Overall it was a good hotel and I would visit again as it was clean and in a good position. We didnt try the breakfasts so we cant comment on those!

We had two rooms as we were travelling with our teenage daughters. We specifically requested a sea view and the rooms to be next to each other, this the hotel complied with completely although it may have helped that we emailed the hotel separately from the travel company.
There are some rooms that are in a poor position so you need to be careful about this.
Overall the hotel was very comfortable and the rooms clean excluding the usual Greek sanitation system of course.
Added extras were 20 Euros for the fridge per week, 20 Euros for the safety deposit box and if you travel outside of July and August(when it's free) air conditioning is yes you guessed it 20 Euros.
The big plus for this hotel is that it is literally on the beach.
There is the usual nonsense around the pool of people reserving the sunbeds with towels and then not turning up until late in the day, but for 5 Euros you can hire 2 loungers either on the grassed area next to the beach or 7 Euros on the beach. This maybe a little expensive but you get 2 Euro voucher to use use in the excellent poolside cafe, really great for lunchtime. There is also a poolside bar with reasonable prices. We used the grass area because it was a little cooler than the beach and quieter than the pool area.
We stayed on bed and breakfast basis and I have to say the breakfast was only very average with absolutely no variety during the week we stayed. Get in early as it quieter.
The hotel staff all seemed very helpful, one annoying thing was that they wanted to keep our passports for the week because they had lost a lot of keys when people accidentally took them home. I insisted on having them back as they were only kept in the pigeon holes behind the reception which was very strange as the Holiday rep kept banging on about keeping your valuables and documents in a safety deposit box ?
There was no formal entertainment provided, this was OK as it made the hotel much quieter and there are loads of other things going on in the resort.
The pool was a little smaller than it appeared in the brochure but was clean and the temperature was just right.
If you enjoy playing pool don't bother in this hotel as all the cues were broken and it was expensive.
Overall a good clean hotel and providing you get the right rooms we would really recommend it

Very clean and comfortable hotel. In a quiet position.
A plus for me was the mesh screen across the window in the bedroom. No more Mozzies in the room.
The food was fine but not a lot of choice for bBreakfast.
The location was excellent right on the beach. The beach was clean.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
The bar in the hotel was cheaper than outside.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing break.

I have stayed in this particular hotel for the past 16/17 years and it still draws us all back each year.
I have always found it incredibly clean, with the owners taking it in turn to regularly make an inspection of the whole hotel, including the grounds, especially the pool!! We always laugh at the way he barks out orders to whoever is closest but always has a smile on his face!!
All the staff here are incredibly friendly, one even cries each year when she sees us "The Jones Family". Effie, on reception, is fab! They bend over backwards to help, and of course, as with everything else here, there is always "no problem!"
As another review pointed out, this hotel is great if you like the odd mindless, crazed, booze-fuelled, up all night kinda night, then this is perfect cos your only approx. a 15 minute walk - along the moonlit beach - to the main stretch, which is actually, the centre of Laganas. But the hotel is just far enough away so you don't hear any party people.
There is virtually ZERO entertainment (never has been) but if you ask nicely, the various bar staff or reception clerk would quite happily zorba the night away in front of your eyes!! Talking of staff, the whole time I've stayed in this hotel, we always return to see the same familiar faces!! That speaks volumes.
Yep another truth is the breakfast. Its lovely food.

We stayed at this hotel Aug/Sept 03 for 2 weeks.
We were given room 106 which was in the front of the hotel under the level of the car park. It was dark and damp, there was a foot high mould mark all the way around the room and the tiles in the bathroom were coming away from the floor. The reason for the water mark, we later found out, was due to the room (and a few others) being below ground level. When it rains the room floods because there are no drains to take the water away!
We complained to the Rep and finally after 4 days we were moved to another room which was fantastic, as the top 2 floors had recently been redecorated.... The room was on the 2nd floor with a view of the pool and the sea, and everything was brand new.
Breakfast wasnt up to much as mainly just coffe, cake and cheese. We only ate there once the whole 2 weeks. It is conveniently located as you can walk through the gardens straight on to the beach. Also only 5 mins walk from the main strip of bars & restuarants.
