The hotel is usually manned by the owners mother who doesnt speak english which can be a problem if you need help. The pool bar is independently managed by Anna and her 2 sons. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are helpful, friendly and they always make you welcome. Food served is good especially the english breakfast and the greek salad. I would give the pool bar staff 5.

Very good location,a few metres back from the main road through resort,it's close to a wide variety of bars, restaurants,& shops. There's a big supermarket directly opposite, & even a McDonalds next door if you fancy some junk food!!There are two main 3 storey blocks with their balcony's facing either side of the pool, and a third 2 storey block facing the road. The right hand block has the sun on balconies for most of the day, whereas the left hand block balconies are mostly shaded (& therefore cooler). There are no lifts or porter service,so be prepared. The apartments are basic, but very clean, and serviced/linen changed every day.One big drawback is that only the Manager speaks English, and he's only there for a few hours each day (not always regular times either).Pool & snack bar are privately run by Anna & her family, who welcome all guests for a laugh & beer.Courtesy says that if you want to use their sunbeds by the pool, then you need to purchase food or drinks from their bar (not sit with your own).We were in room 48 (left hand block),a room for 3, with bed number 3 being a pull-out from under one of the 2 single beds. The room had two hotplate rings next to the sink,3 plates,3glasses,3 forks, etc (you get the picture?!Typical Greek bathroom,no shower curtain or high hook to hang shower head on.But it worked well, and no problems with water temp or availablity. The resort is under the airports' flightpath,so expect some aircraft noise at various times of day & night (it's not 24/7 due to preservation orders for the Islands turtle population).
However there is a problem with the neighbouring dogs & cockrel competing to be first up in the early hours of the morning!!

This hotel is in a fab location right in the centre of Tsilivi. I imagine that during peak season you could experience passing noise but it didnt affect us at all.
The rooms were quite spacious with a good size balcony (If you get the right hand block you will get the sun all day) but basic but after all it was just a room for us to sleep in.
The pool is a decent size although it does get a lot of shade during the day so we didnt actually use it we went to the beach instead which is about a 10 minute walk.
The staff at the apartments are ok we didnt actually speak to them except when one of the women knocked on our door and shouted 'boy' at us! (she thought she had seen a boy follow us up to our room) but there was no boy! haha
