I am just 14 years of age, and sometimes as a child of my age you often find yourself getting bored when i you abroad with my family, however when i visited Planos Bay Apartments in Zante i rarely got bored, i nearly all ways found something to do, whether it was going to play football on the on-site astroturf court or going for a walk round outside and going in different bars seen as the appartments are in an area full of bars to eat, drink or watch the latest films of a day time , i sometimes went alone because my parents felt it was very safe for a child of my age to do so. The food from the pool-side was very nice and if you just fancieda small snack you could all ways go in the shop that was located on-site. I'm normally quite shy when it comes to joining in activites but the entertainment staff were brilliant in making sure you remained happy and that you were all ways enjoying yourself. Of a night time there were plenty of places to dine and then after to go have a drink in a bar but there also places where kids a bit older than me could go and have a good night out. The only downside to the holiday was going home at the zante airport, because it is so small that you have to do so much queing and most of that queing is done outside. Apart from that i strongly reccomend it!!! i going back there 6this year with my family and my best friends family!!!!!

On arrival the hotel looks a bit dissapointing from the front but the reception area is airconditioned which was welcome in the August heat. Our room was quite dark but clean and had everything needed for our stay.
We overlooked part of the pool from our balcony so that was quite nice. The pool was L shaped and quite a good size and kept clean. You did have to get up at the crack of dawn though to reserve a sunbed so on a few occasions we didn't get one so went to the beach or shared two between us all.
The food at the pool bar was good and usually you could get a seat in the shade to eat lunch.
The bar in reception was really expensive but the on site shop was OK.

My wife and I, with our inlaws, found this hotel and staff nice, helpful and friendly/encouraging to join in with water polo/football etc.
The apartment was very nice we had ours at the front so had the music from the bars which, as it was greek, was on the whole bearable. The entertainment staff worked very hard to keep us amused but we feel that the holiday company itself could of assisted them more.
The beach was only a couple of minutes walk away. Advise you buy a snorkel and mask as the water is clear, also take a days cruise on the boat (mare mare) where you stop at the blue caves - the shipwreck. You also dive off the back of the boat or go for a swim in the caves - strong swimmers only.
To eat out either popeyes/the red lion/or the trock you can't miss this as it has a big crocodile outside. Be aware the locals drive in the narrow roads fast.
Kids are well liked. Very nice holiday.
