We booked a room on a hotel site as travelling round India.
It's a great place to go but this hotel is not one of the best.
We upgraded to a superior room when we got there. Bath and room in general were in poor condition bit of a let down for the price charged.
We are used to all types of accommodation through India but for the price we can't recommend it.

Breakfast quite adequate with a choice of eggs, toast and jam. Other breakfast items could be purchased if required. The guesthouse was spotless. The food was delicious - the best chicken biryani I have ever tasted although towards the end of the fortnight I was getting short of things to choose as not everything appealed to me. The location was great. Quiet with beautiful paddy fields and coconut groves and a short walk to the beach through the Coconut Grove Hotel. The staff were great and genuinely friendly. No entertainment as such except on Monday and Friday evenings when a man came in to sing some songs. Thoroughly recommend to anyone - we stopped in the guesthouse old part as opposed to the new bit and really couldn't find fault with anything. We knew we were going "cheaper" but it was more than adequate with air conditioning and a ceiling fan. You don't stop in your room long anyway when you go on holiday. My daughter's birthday was made really memorable by the staff as they made a cake and they bought her a teddy bear. Even one of the taxi drivers outside bought her an elephant and we didn't know him. The taxi drivers can take you on all the excursions far cheaper than the rep so bear this in mind before you book anything with your rep
