We really liked it here. Arrived early one morning (9am) and were lucky enough to get one of the better rooms for ten nights. We paid 1400 ruppees a night which was the most expensive on our trip but we really enjoyed our stay here. We felt safe and relaxed in Coco Bannanas. The owner Walter and the dogs were very friendly. Walter gave us some good local eating reccommendations. The location is great; just off the beach road near the Calungute beach steps. It is very quiet; set around a lush and green courtyard amongst other small guesthouses and local houses. Take a torch for the walk home! Our room was great; really spacious with a nice verandha for sitting out and a comfortable bathroom with shower and european toilet! Cleaned every day and immaculate! They have a good website and it is a good chilled base near the hustle and bustle of Calungute.
