we stayed at Molly Malones in Calangute from 26th dec 09 to 16th Jan 2010. What a great place ,much better than a large hotel. Large rooms with great air con, ceiling fans, very large extremely comfortable beds ( rare in Goa)large bathroom with shower very clean. The marvellous staff who looked after us very well, especially satch who made sure I had my cup of tea at the end of the evening(I do not drink alchol that much due to medication I take so look forward to a cup of tea)he even brought a kettle in when the kitchen was closed.(The room boys kept our room spotless with clean towels every day and were always smiling even though it is very hard work with little pay compared to us.All the boys behind the bar and kitchen staff including Vikram Nash &Elton were wonderful, also thanks to Baboo who sorted our rooms out and Leslie who owns the place. We had a great holiday and will definately be returning as soon as we can. Also thanks to the lovely security man who always shook our hand every night and helped me when I fell.See you soon!! PS. good entertainment.

We have stayed at Molly Malones three times and love it.Leslie the owner is fantastic always very friendly with his customers and makes you feel welcome. The
rooms are very modern and cleaned every day and towels and bed linen are changed daily. The food is lovely and all the staff are polite and friendly.Definately the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we have been going to goa for thirteen years.Location is very central easy access to the busy shops and close to the beach.Entertainment every night from bingo karaoke singers and comedian/singer pauly who if you havent seen is a must on a friday evening. We have met a lot of lovely friends who stay at the Hotel every year.We will be going back january 2010 and are all ready counting the weeks to go.No complaints would strongly recommend the hotel for comfort friendliness and location. We were also invited to a wedding one of the lads were married on valentines day it was lovely. We were also invited to an opening night at romanys venue and the place was beautiful the food and drinks were free and again we would definately recommend it for a special night out.Thank you Leslie and all the staff for another fab hol only wish we could afford to come back soon.Don't just take our word for it give it a try I promise you will not be disappointed it is definately a classy hotel.Jacquie and Chris from Bolton.

Molly Malone's is an Irish Bar opened a couple of years ago in Calangute with around 12 rooms situated above the bar.
The rooms are very spacious with a fantastic king size bed, not 2 singles pushed together. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and are well furnished and also have a modern fridge and TV with several cable channels (there are many sports channels for the lads with plenty coverage of English football). Apart from the very comfy bed the best thing is a very quiet (for Goa) air conditioning system which keeps the room at a liveable temperature especially at night so you don't just lie in bed and sweat.
The toilet is quite modern and very clean with a good shower. If you like lazing around a pool it's not for you as there isn't one.
The food in the bar is British style but very good especially the breakfasts. The bar staff are very friendly and you can have a lot of fun with them. Although you are above the bar there is very little noise and the bar closes soon after midnight.
Molly Malone's is situated on the road which stretches from the crossroads at the bottom of Baga Rd along past the Mira Hotel on the left hand side. It normally takes around 5 - 10 minutes to walk to the beach. Room costs are anything between
