Well guys you have surpassed yourselves again, and I didn't think it possible. The new rooms on the 3rd floor are amazing. I thought I was in the Marriott. Again Dominique kept us fed & watered at Breakfast & during some daytimes & Xavier my friend you made yet another holiday truely fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys, we met my father & his new wife who were staying somewhere else on their honeymoon (Only because it was their honeymoon) It was Dad's birthday & Xavier went out and got him a Birthday Cake which was a lovely gesture. Keep up the good work, Hope to see you in February 2007,

This was our 5th stay at the Sunset Beach over the last 5 years and it just gets better every time.

We stayed in the new rooms and they were better than any other hotel we have stayed in Goa. The bathroom was very nice and bright and we always had hot water. The bed was the biggest we have ever slept in and really comfortable with a nice deep mattress, the air conditioning was so efficient we had to turn it off on a night because we felt cold, we also had a tv in the room which you had to pay for separately. The balcony was very small and faced out onto the back of the hotel so the view wasn't that good, but the view from the front windows, because we were so high up was superb. The room was cleaned everyday and the linen and towels changed everyday.

All the staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

The breakfast was the standard tea and toast, but you could order cooked food for a small charge, the cheese omelettes were really good. The Bistro is set in the grounds of the hotel and the food is wonderful you also have the Mermaid restaurant next door and they do a really good fillet steak.

What more can we say the hotel is just perfect, good food, excellent rooms, wonderful staff and the location is great less than 5 minutes walk to the beach.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to many more holidays there in the future, we are forcing ourselves to try another hotel for 2006/07.

My husband & I have been to Goa 8 times now & have stayed at Sunset the last 5 times.

The hotel is basic however the service and cleanliness more than make up for this. When holidaying in Spain for example we go 4* but in Goa we have everything we need at the Sunset and more.

Xavier & Mable cannot do enough for you and Duckhams & Poppy escort you back to your room at night after a few honey bees.

The hotel position is as close to the beach as possible and the sunsets are amazing. The bistro has been a good investment and usually busy so best to book. The rooms have air con, fridge, Tv, etc... and they usually have the cricket or football on in the bar for the men who need a sport fix. Saftey Deposit boxes are in the rooms and there is a Doctor on call who arrives within 10 minutes.

Well done Xavier, Dominique and staff, We'll be back on the 11TH November this year.

We were very pleased at the standard of the hotel. We got a cheap deal and didn't expect a lot. Because we were at the very end of the season the Bistro was closed but we heard good reports about it from other holiday makers who had been to it earlier in the year.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. We are returning again in '06

This was our first time in Goa and we choose this hotel on recommendation from friends who had stayed there. Glad we did as it made our holiday.

The rooms were basic but very clean.

The breakfast was satisfactory. Had a few lunches which were also satisfactory.

The service of the staff was excellent and very friendly.

There was no entertainment during the two weeks we were there, well at least I don't think so. Was out everynight!

Oh yes -the bistro! Lovely food and wonderful service! Went there on three nights.

Would definitely go back or recommend it.

The hotel has an excellent location just 200m from the beach and similar to the numerous bars/restuarants. The rooms are fairly basic but kept perfectly clean by the ladies who seem able to make anything by shaping a towel.

The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help. I had a slight accident at the beach on my last visit and the staff arranged for the doctor, took me on a scooter for tests and collected my prescription. Nothing was too much trouble.

Other than breakfast I have only dined at the hotel once and that was on a previous visit two years ago. The food was fine but I believe the new Bistro is very good. So much so we couldn't get in on our last night as it was fully booked.

The Sunset Beach is the best hotel I have stayed in, it is fairly small, but the staff could not do enough to help.

The rooms were fairly large and very clean.

I stayed here before the bistro was opened, but have used the bistro on many occasions since, the food is excellent and varied and the staff are great

By far one of the best hotels I have stayed in the last 10 years to Goa.

The staff are very friendly and helpful it is in a great location, and like some other Goa hotels I have stayed in it still has that family feel, nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.
