We enjoyed our stay here and always felt welcome. We found the hotel clean & the staff wonderfully helpful. Our only criticism would be that the hotel is a little tired looking these days and could perhaps benefit from some updating especially the room we stayed in. This contained a bath with shower over, and the bath mat seemed to be "welded" to the bath. The rooms with shower but no bath are better.
The restaurant is very good, with a wide choice of food catering for all tastes. The road from the sister hotel, the Mobor, leads directly to the family's beach shack, where another great welcome awaits you.All in all a good "basic" accomodation holiday.

Gaffinos is a small family run guesthouse/hotel. Good location in the "centre" of the Mobor resort.
The room was spacious and clean with a bath! We paid 1000 ruppees per night (I think south goa is more expensive than the north). Very friendly, helpful staff.
The resident taxi driver initially appeared a bit slow and pushy but turned out to be a real star! His name is George and he gives an interesting commentary on trips out.
The breakfast was fine and the other residents (all british) very pleasant. The restaurant is popular and busy every night we stayed here. Probably the best bet around here if you are travelling independently or want a cheaper option to the more expensive hotels in this area.
