Haathi Mahal is my favourite hotel in goa. We have stayed in the North and South and have been to Goa for the past 7 years staying at Haathi 3 times we are even due to go back in the next 10 days!!
Hotel staff are always very friendly. Very near to lots of lovely restaurants and shops .
We do not normally stay around in the evening for the entertainment as its more enjoyable at one of the restaurants.
Some of the rooms could do with updating but as we only sleep and shower in there its not too bad we have stayed in a lot worse!!

The hotel facilities were excellent.
The rooms were very spacious although the bathroom could do with upgrading.
The breakfast was buffet style with everything from Continental, English or Indian style. Eggs freshly cooked any style. Comprehensive evening menu, lunch time menu a little limited.
Location of the hotel was excellent for retail therapy and wide choice of restaurants, a 15 minute walk took you to a vast expanse of beach but taxis easily attainable and cheap.
Hotel staff very friendly as are all Goan people and staff extremely helpful.
