This was our first visit to India and we were amazed how cheap it was. The hotel rooms and guest areas were spotless. Some rooms at the front of the hotel require modernising but all are very clean. The food was excellant with lots of curries but a good choice of western type food. The location is 2 minutes from the beach which is very quiet apart from a few hawkers who are very good natured. Some superb restaurants etc nearby, a short cheap taxi ride. Don't book trips with the reps but hire a taxi for the day its much much cheaper and the drivers are brilliant. The hotel staff all speak English and go out of their way to help you. The entertainment wasn't much to speak of but we got by. The taxi drivers will take you to all tailors shops and restaurants nearby and are very friendly.

This was the third time back to Heritage Village and we will go there again. We are always welcomed as old friends by both management and staff and oddly enough by some guests as there are a lot of people who do return. Its just that sort of hotel! The entertainment can seem a little dated but that is just how it is in Goa and the activity staff put so much effort in to make your holiday enjoyable and fun.
When we arrived in our room last time, there was a decorated iced sponge cake waiting for us with the words "Welcome Back" on the top --- Its the little things that make the difference!
