We stayed at La Ben in December along with 2 friends.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels.
We only ate here a couple of times but what we did have was good.
Just a few minutes walk to the beach and bus stop. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. The location was ideal.
The only thing I found wrong at La Ben was that when we got back from the beach we had to look for a member of staff to serve us drinks in their lovely garden area. We were always told the same thing - sleeping time now.at 2.30 in the afternoon!. Will add they have a lovely roof top garden where you can sit and people watch as it overlooks the main thoroughfare.
We would definitely go there again.

We stayed at La Ben Resort in Colva in November and were very impressed by this budget hotel. It is excellently located just a short walk from Colva beach and in the centre of the resort. The hotel is spotlessly clean with spacious rooms, air conditioning and balcony. The beds and towels were changed daily and nothing was too much trouble for the cleaning staff.
The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
we would certainly recommend La Ben for anyone looking for a no frills budget hotel in an excellent location. Colva beach is beautiful and Pappillion Shack was very good.
A restaurant we would recommend is Kentuckee just beside the beach entrance. lovely food and great music
