We booked this hotel as we had 9 hours between flights. It is down as a budget hotel and we paid just under £70. I wasn't really caring too much about negative reviews I had read in TA as we just wanted somewhere to rest. Have to say, I do wonder who writes these reviews as they often appear to be about entirely different hotels from the reality.
To begin with, security is very good- the taxis are checked underneath and you and your luggage are security checked on entering. You need your room key to operate the lift.
The room was spacious, with work table and chair, and seating area. There was a flat screen TV, AI, safe, fridge, kettle and tea and coffee, free bottle of water.
Bathroom is tiny but has everything and a good shower. Very clean. It has a hairdryer.
They advertise that if they do not deal with any problem within 15 mins you get the room for free.
Free transfers to and from the domestic airport.
I would not dream of staying there as a holiday. The main area of Mumbai that you would want to visit is some distance away. The food and drink is really expensive there as well. But it’s in a busy area so there are bound to be places close by to go to. As a stopover though, it certainly does the job.
Please note the five stars for location is for airport location. No stars for entertainment as it’s not relevant.
