We arrived in Naples airport at 11.30pm on Friday 8th June only to find that our hotel transfer that was paid for up front had left without us.
Our flight was delayed as a result of air traffic control issues. We called the coach company in Italy but could not get through so we called the UK office who confirmed we use a local taxi and send them the receipt for reimbursement which was 145Euros
When we contacted Love Holidays we received negative responses as expected and they said that it is our fault for not calling the coach to inform them we could be delayed. Having paid for our coach transfer we are bitterly disappointed and annoyed that Love Holidays take the money up front and do not provide what we ordered so I see this as a breach of contract. We spent £4000 on holidays this year with Love Holidays and they have just walked away from a simple request of reimbursement of a taxi fare.
I advise anyone booking through these middlemen to forget it and book with Jet2 who are far better and pleasant and professional to deal with.

Overall the hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, modern and the beds were suberb, very large and comfortable.
The staff were very helpful and friendly - the food was excellent and although our kids are not keen on pasta they also enjoyed the food. the facilities were very good and although the pool could be improved - apparently its being re-furbished for 2005.
Our children 16 and 12 loved the hotel, they made lots of friends and this gave us plenty of time to relax particularly in the executive lounge
The hotel is situated about 800m from the main street and it's on slight hill.

we returned to the hilton sorrento palace this year after a successful holiday last year. the hotel has now been upgraded to a five star and does deserve this.
the meals are fantastic, buffet breakfast with everything possible and a choice italian evening meal on offer. the hotel is really clean and rooms are cleaned daily with a daily sheet/towel change.
the hotel staff whom clean the rooms through to the restaurant managers are excellant (all seem to have the time and patience to chat with the different nations!).
the entertainment is every night ranging from pianists to singers all of which are pleasant to listen to.
the location of this hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the main piazza tasso square and sometimes is a bit of a trek home (after the vino!!) but taxis are readily available at a reasonable rate.
and yes i would visit this hotel again as the standards combined with the service, cleanliness, food, staff and overall service is top notch!!

The Hilton Sorrento Palace is a excellent choice for couples and families.
We have visited this hotel twice now and I would go back again tomorrow.
The staff are wonderful, very friendly and always willing to help. Some remembered us when we visited the second time.
The food is lovely too. Snacks available by the pool and drinks too. The breakfast buffet style, is most excellent, with a wide range of coice - something to suite everyone! The evening meals are also nice, with a choice everynight and very sufficiant staff serving too.
The entertainment also is wonderful one particular giutarist who sings too and it is very relaxing to listen to.
The hotel is situated up a slight hill, but the taxis there are good.
The pool is also nice a spacious which means even though there may be many people down by it it never seems too crowded!
I am definatly going back next year as I love this hotel. I would reccomend it to anyone!
