My husband and I travelled to Sorrento with Travelsphere from Rome to Sorrento to this hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room although small was very comfortable, clean with fresh towels and laundry.
I would very much return to this hotel when I return to Italy at a later date.
The hotel was very central to Sorrento with everything on hand.
The staff made us very welcome and looked after us extremely well.

Previous complaints regarding traffic noise appear to have improved with the introduction of double glazing.
Food was fairly bland with a choice of starter (soup or pasta) followed by a salad with a main meal and a sweet.
Breakfast is very basic
Location of Hotel is brilliant - right on the start of the shops, bars and restaurants.
Staff were always efficient and seemed happy in their work.
Entertainment is virtually nil but this is not a problem as you only have to step out of the hotel to make your own.
Would re-vist but would like to see the hotel food choice improve

We also visited this hotel on an Archers coach holiday and it is possibly the worst hotel I have ever visited. Our room overlooked a busy, noisy road but other guests in the group tried three rooms before finding one which was tolerable.
Standards of cleanliness left a lot to be desired and the towels were thin cotton, not terry towelling, more like a kitchen towel.
We ate in the restaurant the first night but that was once too often and we paid to eat elsewhere for the remainder of the stay.
The location was OK in that it was only ten minutes from the centre of Sorrento but it is by a busy junction and the traffic noise continued to late in the night and began again early next morning.

We stayed here for 2 nights with Archers Direct as part of their Rome, Vesuvius,Pompeii,Capri and Sorrento tour. The hotel is on the right of the Corso Italia as you start to approach a steep right hand turn going out of Sorrento towards the Hotels Bristol and Capidomonte, it's just past the hospital. Therefore, it is a very good location to stroll into Sorrento. The rooms facing the traffic may be noisy but it seems if you have a laugh with the rep, he'll sort you out good rooms! My friends and ourselves had rooms with a balcony and a sea view which were very comfortable, clean, not particularly modern but ok.We got the impression that the hotel is used a lot for coach tours. The hotel breakfast routine was rather regimental. You got the impression that the waiters were standing over you, waiting for you to finish as quick as possible.Breakfast was continental in style, quite filling with choices of cols meat, cheeses and bread with plenty of good coffee to wash it down!We didn't really have much of a guage about the hotel staff, only being there for 2 days but they did seem to be organised. There didn't appear to be any entertainment at the hotel. They did have an internet room and you could use a swimming pool at the hotel over the road,I think it was the Hotel Villa Maria.I would use the hotel again as a base in Sorrento.

Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis on an organised tour of southern Italy.
The room was very small, out dated but adequate.
Breakfast was basic even for continental, with a bare minimum of food available.
The location of the hotel was good, but I would have not rated this as a three star hotel.
