BEAUTIFUL, BUT FILTHY & NOISY!!

The monuments and sights are breathtaking, however, the city itself is a dump. Filthy and noisy, beggars and touts every 5 steps, traffic and horns beeping every second of the day and night. Too crowded, pick-pockets a plenty. 4 hour queues for the sites. Food is strictly for Italian's and don't expect a drink unless it is wine or beer.

Tip - go out of season and pre-book fast track tickets!
