I found this little Hotel by chance on the net whilst looking for somewhere to stay in Venice. I think they rate it as a First Class Inn and would agree. It has a wonderful location in Venice, 7 minute walk from Rialto Bridge. It is situated near a vaporetto stop too. It is neatly tucked at the end of a street and when you enter the building it is very pleasant.
We paid extra and booked a canal view room. The rooms are beautifully decorated in typical Italian Style, huge rooms with high ceilings, wooden floors and big windows. Small but very clean bathroom. There are only a few rooms within the Inn and so breakfast is served in your room. The night before you retire, the night porter will ask what you want to drink with breakfast and at what time you require it. Breakfast is very basic, but hey not a problem.
The weather was extremely hot for the 3 days we were in Venice, there is air conditioning in rooms, but they don't like you to leave it on when you are out of your room....this was not an issue for us though.
It is run by 2 gentlemen and they are very polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, they will help you with any queries. The location as i said is great. On the main street are plenty of shops and it's really central to all the major attractions. We walked for miles over the 3 days. There are restaurants and eating places nearby (all reasonably priced too). We were surprised that a lot of bars and restaurants close fairly early in Venice.
I would recommend this hotel to couples and would stay here again without hesitation.
