A great holiday. Everyone was helpful and cheerful. The buffet was a little boring but with other all inclusive options available this was not a problem.
The pools and gardens were always clean and tidy with plenty of sun beds. You could not fault how well we were looked after. This is now my second visit within two years and would return tomorrow if I could.

My husband & I stayed here from 6th to 20th October & had a fantastic time.
Our first impression was the hotel was huge! We were taken to Reception to check in & then to Guest Relations where we were greeted with refreshing cold towels & fruit juices. We were staying as All Inclusive & were given our wristbands & a list of everything that was available to us.
They had upgraded us from the standard room we'd originally booked to a fantastic seaview room free of charge & also decorated our room door with ribbons, as my husband would be celebrating his 40th & our wedding anniversary out there. We were also given a fruit platter & a chocolate 'Happy Anniversary' cake. The room was large & spacious & had all the amenities you needed - fridge, hairdryer, safe (no charge for use) etc. The bathroom was a bit dated but was kept spotless.
All other areas of the hotel were kept spotlessly cleaned too, which was incredible considering the size of the grounds.
Restaurants - the Pavillions restaurant was very large & this is the one used for buffets for breakfast, lunch & dinner. There was a vast choice of food available & I noticed that vegetarians were well catered for. The Minazi restaurant serves light bites, lunch & dinner & an early breakfast service from 3am to 6am, which is great if you're going on safari or catching an early flight home. Lido - this is near the sports bar & offers lots of fresh seafood. The only negative we found was the desserts weren't as nice as they looked.
Evening entertainment - Cocos beach bar was entertaining & we never had to wait long for a drink & the staff were very friendly. They had a DJ each night but the music reminded us of being in a cheesy disco & karoake each Saturday was funny, listening from our balcony to the sounds of someone screeching:) The other bar situated next to the Minazi restaurant was great for relaxing with a quiet cold tusker.
All of the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly & always had a ready smile & 'jambo' for you.
The location of the hotel was great although the beach was a let down due to the amount of seaweed at low tide. We used the matatus for getting out & about & had no problems whatsoever with them. A fare from Whitesands to the local Nakumatt was only 50 shillings for both of us, compared to the 1000 shillings the taxi driver wanted.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & wouldn't hesitate to go back there.
