obviously the standards in africa are different to Europe, however health and safety were not a priority at this hotel. most guests suffered with upset stomachs and several with severe food poisoning.
The rooms and serving areas had insects and cockroaches present and the smell from the gas burners warming the food was overwhelming.
The pool was not cleaned and whilst we were there hardly any guests had hot water and our fire exit was blocked with furniture.
Unfortunately the hotel openly encouraged prostitutes to visit hotel guests and this is not appropriate when families are present. The more accurate rating for this hotel is a 2 star. On a positive note the hotel is on the beach and the animater staff were very freindly with guests.
