This is a high class hotel set on a stunning island surrounded by a reef.
The accommodation is in individual detached round bungalows which are very spacious with high ceilings. We stayed in a standard beach bungalow which was very simple but stylishly decorated. The bathroom was partly indoors (the sink) and partly outdoors (toilet and shower) in it's own private small garden area. I believe the deluxe beach bungalows have an additional bath sunken in the garden.
The rooms are very well looked after by the "room boys" and you will often find a plate of small specialty snacks awaiting you when you return from the beach etc in the late afternoon - a very nice touch. We even had a bottle of champagne and huge plate of the most wonderful fruits awaiting on arival, and we were not there for a special occasion.
The rooms are all very well set in lush foliage with nobody overlooking - very romantic.
There are three main places to eat, ranging from buffet to al la carte and all serve the most amazing food - definitely a string point of the island.
If you like to be entertained in the evenings you will be disappointed as the emphasis here is on low key romance, so things like a bonfire on the beach with couples sitting on rugs with waiter service.
Generally the day time consists of relaxing or enjoying exploring the abundant house reef. There is also a great spa there, but I can
