We stayed in Raamba Retreat bungalow which is really excellent value with sitting room, large bedroom, semi outdoor bathroom and sort of dressing/utility area.Then you have your own garden leading to the beach with your own wooden sun beds set out with clean towels daily situated beneath your own thatched sun shade.
It was all cleaned every day plus a bed turn down service in the evening which resulted in some exotic displays both with the sheets and flowers.
Fresh fruit was provided every day and an individual butler to take care of all your needs.
There are two restaurants both suppling really top class a la carte evening meals with one more dedicated to Asian cuisine. Breakfast was a huge and varied buffet style including proper pork bacon and sausages ( a rarity in the Maldives where you often get beef bacon sic and chicken sausages).
The location is great being right at the northerly tip of the Maldives it is very undisturbed and reached by flying internally(not sea plane)from Male/Himandoo and then 20 minutes by launch. Excellent swimming and easy snorkelling and I understand a good dive centre.
Service as you would expect 5 star with a butler.
Entertainment confined to a couple theme nights with local entertainers as far as we are concerned this is as much as you need in the Maldives it's not what we come for.
