The hotel is actually called the Paradise Bay Resort Hotel but really there is no resort to speak of. The nearest civilisation is about two miles away at Melleiah bay. There is also a good supermarket there at the Melleiah Bay Holiday Centre. Buses there cost around 50c. Across the bay from the hotel is a very nice public beach and bar which sometimes has quite loud music on until late at night. Nearby attractions include the islands of Comino - famous for its blue lagoon - and the larger island of Gozo.

Out of the way resort but you can get a bus very easily, go to the ferry bus stop. Entertainment is not good but if you drive you get to anywhere else on the island. The buses have not got any better and the roads can be rough around the towns. Last bus around 9.00pm. Small private beach across the road reached by underpass helps. Reasonably clean area but then again nothing there, except the ferry. Nice in the bay opposite hotel 20 mins walk away. Would not go again as the bus journey over an hour to capital valleta.

The best thing about this resort is the fact that you can get on the ferry to Gozo there. There is nothing else in the resort to do what so ever unless you are scuba diving. The diving is ok..but there is very little marine life. The resort is averagely clean to say there is much building work taking place. The beach is small, centred around the diving school and is clean and well supplied with sunbeds ( no charge for these)..but unless you were scuba diving..there was no reason to be on the beach at all. Beware of jellyfish though!! I would not visit the resort again except to get on the ferry across to Gozo!

You wouldn't go here if a "resort" is what you want. Its a road to a ferry port. Nice to look out on Comino and Gozo, and the ferries are cheap and easy to catch.

Not really a resort as there is only the hotel and the ferry port, but there are stunning views of Comino and Gozo.

As for people saying it is miles away from anywhere, c'mon, Malta's only about 20 miles long if that, nowhere is far away. Mellieha is only a 10 minute ride away.

If you want a quiet resort then this is the place to go, if you want the night life then go to Buggiba.

The surrounding area to the hotel was very very poor, no places of interest not even a bar or shop.

The resort lacked any bars or shops outside of the hotel & the only walk was along a dark & busy road until you turned around & went back to bed.

The private beach was small but clean & the ferry port being only 200yards away was great if you like being that close to a commercial operation.

The name of the resort does not stand up to the expection.
Wouldn't go back nothing in it. Only the hotel we stay in which isn't worth going back to.
