visited the paradise hotel late march with a group of 4 friends two of which had paid for an upgrade room.shown to my room which i found to be very badly furnished almost to the point of being shabby.the linen and sheets were a distinctive grey colour and the whole room seemed to have a musty smell lingering in the air.my friends room was in an even worse state and quite frankly was unhabitable as there seemed to be a smell of stale urine in the air. again the bed linen and towels had seen better days. in general the hotel would have been pushed to have attained a 1* standard of accommodation.the upgraded rooms were certainly better than ours.complained to hotel management and travel agent back in this country and was forced to stump up another

I booked the hotel off the internet, the photographs looked superb. I arrived, booked in and could not believe my eyes. The place reminded me of an old mental hospital. It was dark, sad and dingy.
We went to the bar for lunch and when I asked for the menu I was shown a selection of pre-packed sandwiches ( The time was 12.30pm).
I went down the road, found another hotel(The Barcello Spa Resort) and checked out of this hotel without staying one night. If you value your sanity, do not book this hotel
