We booked this hotel after reading trip advisor reviews, which state it as rated No.1 of all the hotels in Qawra. Booked online and they had a fantastic deal on - 200 euros for a week, b&b for my wife and I.
We arranged for the hotel to pick us up from the airport and this was very effective - no waiting around for transfers on the bus etc.
When we got to the hotel, we had a drink whilst we checked in and got our room. We asked for a room with a corner view and had exactly that, it was an apartment. It was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. However, on further inspection, we found the shower cubicle to be a bit mouldy and the cleanliness overall was ok, but my wife did go over everything with the disinfectant wipes to be sure! It wasn't a big deal though and we didn't feel the need to complain. Rooms are looking a bit tired and could have done with a lick of paint.
Everything else about the hotel was great, breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of it. One of the things to mention was that they did close the bar at 9.30pm each evening, so you had to go out or have a drink in your room. With it being out of season though, I suppose it is to be expected. Location was excellent, close to all amenities and next to the bus station so just hop onto a bus (which were cheap) and take a tour round Malta. It was very chilly in Feb so take warm woolies with you!
Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. All in all, a very good base from which to explore Malta. Thanks to everyone at Park Lane.

I first stayed at this Aparthotel with my husband on a S/C basis in September
The rooms in the main hotel are clean, spacious and modern with everything you need in an apartment
The hotel in just aroung the corner from the main bus station in Buggiba andd there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance
It is a family run hotel and they will go out of their way to help you in any way
I was so happy with the hotel that I immediately booked a larger apartment for myself, my sister and our friend in November
This was in a different part of the building, slightly older but still clean and spacious. We had 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for a very reasonable price
This time we had breakfast in the restaurant and it was well worth the extra money. We are very fussy eaters and never stuck to the menu but the staff met all our requirements
