Went on honeymoon to Le Telfair for ten days. First visit to Mauritius, unfortunately weather not very good as I think we probably picked the wrong time of year to go. The hotel was one of the nicest I have ever stayed at and would recommend this hotel to anyone considering it as a honeymoon resort. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are huge. The staff could not do enough for you. Food was absolutely fantastic and service excellent. The location was good as a short walk through the hotel gardens brings you onto a white sandy beach. We hired a car to explore the island as the hotel is quite remote and the only shop nearby is the boutique on site. Not too sure about the hotel entertainment as we tended to retire early to our room each evening. Pool area immaculate with lovely beach bar looking out onto the beach. The hotel really is luxurious and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
