We stayed at the Viva Wyndham Azteca for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. We were here the year before and have also booked to go back again next year.
We stayed in a ground floor room which has patio doors out to a small terrace which was directly opposite the pool snack bar. The hotel has lovely grounds which is kept in great condition.
The pool area leads directly onto the beautiful beach which is spotlessly clean and you are not bothered by any time share or people selling things as they are all moved on by the security. The beach is private and only hotel guests are allowed on it.
The buffet restaurant has a great selection and practically anything is made fresh in front of you. There is also an Oriental and Italian which are both great. A Mexican and Med. at the Viva Maya and you can also use the Viva Cafe in Playa del Carmen which is absolutely beautiful.
