This hotel deserves more than 3 stars! Everyone is fantastic. No-one can do too much for you.
Communal areas are kept clean and tidy, towels are exchanged on the beach when you want them. We don't particularly like entertainment around the pool so chose to sit on the beach and watch the loving couples get married there, but were close enough to see what was going on around the pool and enjoy it. Best of both worlds! And Maria, the beach waitress, talked to us every day. If you go, ask her what she thinks of Mexican men?
Take some bread or bananas from the restaurant in the morning and go feed the fish by the bridge, if you've got kids they'll love it.
The A team work their socks off for you, so do interact with them, it makes their day go quicker as well. If you sit around the pool at the Yucatan you'll get the French team, around the Catalan you'll get the International team (Mexican, Argentinian, British etc.)
Which ever pool it is they have a varied structure, but as with the evening show it does repeat itself the second week, so be warned.
In the evening take a walk to the marina, have a drink and watch the dolphins enjoying themselves, it's FREE!
Tip, we didn't have a sweet with dinner but went up to the Creperie and had a banana split and coffee. Lovely.
Speciality restaurants are all good, but the best we found was the Italian. They get booked up quickly so do it asap after you've arrived, so you can get in twice during your 2 weeks.
We'd go back again, and plan to do so.
If you've booked here, you've made a GREAT choice, if you're still undecided DO IT.

This was our second visit to this hotel. It spoils you to go anywhere else once you have been you are hooked. The hotel is so clean, the staff so helpful and friendly and nothing is to much trouble.
There is always something going on (you dont have to join in if you dont want to), just watching can be fun.The animation team are great they work very hard and long hours but never seem to tier.
The food is great there is so much choice you want to try it all. There are themed nights most evenings the choice ahh>>>>>>>>>>>.
There is also an Italian (which you have to book in advance),a Mexican and a Steak Resturant all at no charge the only thing you pay extra is if you want a bottle of wine. They were building a Spanish restaurant when we left.
I can't fault this hotel in any way even the drinks are imported brands(smirnoff, bacardi, gordons gin, scotch whisky all real stuff), beer is good cocktail excellent 5*.
There is also a disco which opens at 11.00pm till 02.00 and agian at no extra charge.
What else can I say (well I could go on for ever).
JUST GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.We are booked to go again this year.

Stayed here just after the hotel was up and running again after Hurricane Emily destroyed it.
The hotel is always kept lovely and clean and the staff could were always friendly and polite.
The bar staff on the beach always made sure you had a drink by your side.
This hotel is two hotels in one, which include 5 pools with 2 swim up bars, 2 buffet restaurants, 2 speciality restaurants, a steak bar in the evening which is a snack bar during the day.
The Animation team are fantastic and you do not have to join in if you don't want to. Went to Coco Bongos nightclub in Cancun with some of this team and had a great time,(not to be missed)at any age 18-50 (we were the higher end!).
My husband and I would definitely go back again. Great hotel with great staff.

The holiday overall was very good. Hotel no problems staff were the best that you could meet.
The reason that we would not go again the airport system was very poor it took an age to in the county & out, unless thatyou were premium class you were just weaved through, plus the 45 dollars that you have to pay each to escape.
Never again.
