The hotel was very clean and what I expected of its 4-5 star rating.
The location was great for the main tourist parts of the town centre.
The check in staff were slightly rude and ignored us whilst we were standing at the desk - preferring to read or talk to each other.
The room was really good - high standard.
We ate in the hotel bar on night - which was great - part of the original old building and very homely (including mouse under the chair- which amused us - but not the barman who promtly gave us a few free drinks and couldn't apologise enough)
All in all great hotel and location and bar staff very friendly

Booked the hotel on the netfor a bargain price (cheaper than a 3* superior) over the easter period.
The hotel is located off a side stret on the outer edge of the red light district 5 minutes walk from Dam Square
Roomas are clean tidy and modern - well furnished and of an average hotel room size . The buffet breakfast that was part of our price was superb - self service buffet with plenty of choice and good quality. We also had a bar snack one night in the hotel bar which was excellent and not too expensive.All in all a good quality hotel central to Amsterdam.
