I am a vegetarian and my friend is known to be a 'fussy' eater. This presented no problem, as we were always offered an alternative to the choice on offer and the food was always very acceptable. There was also a wide choice available for b/fast.
Without exception, the staff were polite and helpful. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean - there was an abundance of staff who seemed to do little other than sweep the paths. My friend described it as an oasis and, given its location was well away from the centre of Girne, this will either appeal, or not! There was no in-house entertainment which, again, appealed to my friend and me. We hired a car for three days to ensure we had a look around the (north of the) island but were happy to spend the rest of the time chilling by the pool.

Zero tolerance on hygiene and imperfections. Pool water is controlled sevral times a day, sanitory equipment and showers scrupulously clean. In the kitchen, all precautions were taken to prevent hygienic problems, head couvering and mouthmask by cook and staff. Please, don't send the chef cook away, he can prepare delicious stuff, and believe me, as belgian I know what good food means. My congratulations to him please. Go on and keep the quality level high. This is the best guaranty for the next generations of your family. We go back next year

Stayed self catering but wished we had gone for bed and breakfast as there is very little difference in price and the room still has kitchen/fridge etc.
Exceptionally clean with towels and linen change each day.
The food is far better than most restaurants in the area and no dearer after you pay taxi fares to get to other restaurants. The gardens are amazing due to owner Ali and 2 full time staff caring for them.
Only entertainment was weekly quiz, with reasonable questions. Staffed by the owners and their 3 children, all speak english. Wonderful large pool and more than enough sunbeds, cushions and umbrellas for guests even when fully occupied.
Rooms air conditioned with own patio overlooking the gardens.
Will certainly visit again.

This is a family run holiday village with some one bedroom bungalows, two bedroom bungalows and hotel rooms. It has a beautiful large pool and al fresco restaurant as well as indoor restaurant and bar.It is set in beautiful gardens full of fruit trees and nut trees and scented shrubs.Dragon flies in beautiful colours fly over the pool. The food is fantastic but no pressure put on you to eat there. The towels and sheets are changed every day and the rooms cleaned everyday. It is located in Alsancak to the west of Kyrenia. There are dolmus available every few minutes to Kyrenia. There are several restaurants within walking distance in Alsancak.

I found this accomodation by accident searching for a cheap villa. I liked the look instantly- very well kept.
The Almond holiday village has its own website.
There are about 20 villa's and a few hotel rooms.
We stayed in a villa- absolutely superb! Spotless, modern and spacious like a little house with the bedroom upstairs, plenty of wardrobes and draws. Lovely shower and bathroom, all have a huge balcony overlooking the pool. Towels changed every day - bed linen 3 times a week. Fridge, Tv and phone.
I needed a hair dryer and iron, i phoned reception and they were available immediately free of charge to borrow as long as i wanted.
The village is run by a family, mum dad and 3 siblings all lovely hard working people, very down to earth, nothing is too much trouble.
Pool -excellent-very clean, plenty of sunbeds with cushions. Food was superb, FULL English breakfast (the job lot) was only about
