This Hotel is probably the most underrated asset N. Cyprus has The staff are so friendly and helpful the holiday begins the moment you walk through the door. The hotel is spotlessly clean The food is excellent although slightly limited.Breakfast is typical Turkish style the pool is also excellent the TV in the rooms is a little wasted with 789 channels most of them are in other languages although we hardly saw any tv as the bar area is such a good place to meet and make new friends we would come in of an evening and enjoy the rapport with the other guests I have stayed at a 5 star hotel in N.Cyprus on a previous visit and that hotel did NOT come any where near this one for service, value for money and comfort....Thank you Sammy's for a fab holiday

There is only one word to describe the hotel, owners,

We visited here over the Easter period and what a find this small hotel is. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff are the most friendly I have come across in mnay years. Nothing is too much trouble.
The hotel has been recently refurbished and there is a lovely bar in reception than encourages people to chat until the early hours.
The breakfast is reasonable and there is enough to eat. The A la carte food in the restaurant in the evenings is very reasonable although the steaks tend to be rather thin (they are also like that if you buy them in France).

Sammy's is a small family run hotel with 22 bedrooms. We upgraded to a suite with a separate sitting area which was handy for dumping your cases etc but too hot to sit in as there was no air conditioning in there.
Breakfast was fine fruit, boiled eggs, toast you did yourself in a proper 4 slot toaster and cold meat and cheese. You could pay to have a fry up or omelette.
Pool was nice no probs with getting a sunbed and brolly any time of the day. Lunch around the pool omelettes, chips, salads all good. Burgers not so good. Try Molly's at the top of the road if you fancy a change.
A walk into town takes about 15-20 mins and there is a bar at the top of the road The Arc nice to stop off on your way into town or coming home.
The 2 waiters at this hotel are hysterical they made the holiday Halil & Aykut (or H and Haircut as they became know). They work 15 hours a day. Leave them something if you can afford it they deserve it.
This hotel is quiet most people were in their 60's and 70's. No entertainment as such. If you like music take your own CD's and ask them to put them on them otherwise you will be listening to Eva Cassidy for a fortnight. I also did a review in the North Cyprus section about places to eat etc.
