Spent 3 very relaxing days at Killyhevlin hotel. The food was excellent and the entire staff very friendly especially in the restaurant. We went to pool and Jacuzzi which we enjoyed but the tiles around were so so slippy and dangerous especially for older folk. Maybe this could be rectified. Otherwise no complaint..

We have stayed at the Killyhevlin twice in 2008 (March and October)
I love this hotel, each time we were lucky and got a nice refrubished room (make sure you request one of these)
On arrival check in was quick and helpful.
The room was lovely with a lake view, quite large with a huge king size bed, tv, tea/coffee, iron/board, trouser press, safe. No mini bar though. Bathroom was large with separate walk in shower and very tastefully decorated. A few channels on the tv were not working, sky one and nickelodeon.
We ate in Silks restaurant on Friday night and the food was lovely, staff were friendly but service from the kitchen a bit slow on our first visit but fab the 2nd time and excellent food.
Breakfast was good too, lots of choice (hot cooked food, cereal, continental, fruit etc)
The pool and leisure facilities are fantastic, we used the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and the outdoor hot tub. Unfortunately the spa was all booked up so book your treatments well in advance! We booked in advance for Oct and had lovely massages, well worth the
