Solmonte has an outdoor swimming pool and a pool for children, surrounded by a lawned garden with sun loungers. The hotel has two lounge bars with regular evening entertainment as well as a social lounge and a games area.

The solmonte is a no frills budget hotel, book with that in mind! The lift can be dodgy if somebody leaves a door open on another floor, the wet room shower floods water into the living space as I don't think they got the memo about a slanted floor, the bed was OK but very creaky but over all it wasn't bad, the pool was great, maid came twice in the week, which was good as we were self catering and no cleaning equipment was provided, bar sol near the pool was good but toni's bar next to it looked manky but with the strip just up the road you have a wide choice of bars and restaurants, for three adults just in need of a bed then I couldn't fault this hotel for its proximity to the strip and the beach.

Hotel tip: Can't say if the pool side rooms are better but we were in room 901 and the road was noisy and a cockerel crowed from sun up till sun down.
