We stayed for 6 nights at this beautiful island resort. Only 4 hours from Auckland New Zealand. The hotel offers reasonably priced transfers from the airport and no request is too much trouble. Car hire, site seeing, local eco tourism can all be arranged via the hotel reception. The staff are all local Samoan people, so the smiles and helpfulness is all genuine and they are very proud of who they are and where they live. The resort has their own activities team for free water sports, kayaking, snorkelling, introductions to sailing and all their own pools and beaches. Three different, reasonably priced restaurants and happy hour has a nightly cocktail. Cultural events including a Fia Fia night (Polynesian culture show) are all free to attend and enjoy. Lots to do for kids

Hotel tip: Recommended by the hotel is the cultural centre in Apia at the start of the holiday. Breakfast at hotel is excellent and cocktails a lot of fun. Swim in the AM and laze around in the afternoon. Get hire car from hotel for a few days. Ask taxi drivers how much before you get in ! Your Tala goes a long way !
