An elegant hotel around 10 mins walk from Princess Street, and 5 mins from the Royal Mile. All public areas were large, airy and spotless. The staff were courteous and helpful without being intrusive.
The dining room was spacious and well attended. Breakfast was plentiful, with a help yourself counter containing fruits, cereals, pastries, muffins, selection of breads, cheeses and meats. The hot breakfasts were served at your table.
The bedrooms were large, and fully equipped with toiletries, tea tray, iron and hairdryer. There was even a shoe polishing service if needed. The Health centre had a gymnasium with modern equipment and the pool and spa were restful areas.
The only fault we could find with this wonderful hotel was the bar prices.
