We needed a hotel for one night only. We picked this one as it seemed to be a good hotel on a budget. It's in a great central location within a very short walk from train and bus stations. It had the added bonus for us of being 5 minutes walk from the concert venue where we were going to see George Benson. This hotel has the main shopping area within a short stroll and loads of restaurants close by.
It is a new hi tech hotel. The rooms are small but make clever use of space. No wardrobe but 3 hooks on walls with coat hangers. Shelves at side of bed ( high up). The safe served as bedside table. 2 fold down tables. Mood lighting and loads of sockets including USB ports. Nifty little compartments here and there for things like keys or mobiles. Good quality Smart tv. The a/c was very good and was needed as it was quite hot. Shower room small but nice. Be aware that the cheapest rooms have no windows.
The room has a hairdryer- look out for the handy hook beside it, for handbags. Luggage can be stored under the bed. I found the bed to be too comfortable as I didn't want to get out of it in the morning. The rooms are not serviced every day but you can ring for fresh towels. There is an ironing room on the second floor. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't eat there,
I would definitely stay there again for a short visit and will look out for Plan A hotels in other cities.
