The Pan Pacific is without doubt one of the very best hotels in Singapore and has been for many years.
The staff are always helpful and incredibly polite, which is one of the reasons that we choose to stay there.
The food is very good and the buffet restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, is one of the best around, if you like to select your own food etc.
Our room was immaculate and the bed was a joy, particularly after a 14 hour flight from the UK.
The Atrium is an incredible sight, and taking the glass elevators that run on the outside of the building, to the restaurant on top of the hotel, gives you great views over the city.
We were told that the hotel is undergoing planned updates up to October of 2012, however after that, it will be back to its quiet and civilised best.
Definitely a top recommend from our viewpoint.

A great hotel. The staff are terrific and it is ideally located. This was our fourth stay in the hotel and we enjoyed it as much as our first visit.
There are a choice of good restaurants within the hotel if you don't want to go out and breakfast in the Global Kitchen was a delight.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Singapore, be it on a stopover or, like us, for a longer stay.

Once I was given the RIGHT room it was fab!!! (I had booked a club pacifi room with a balcony) when I arrived I was given an executive room with no balcony!!! They moved me the next day and I got everything I should have got.
The view was to die for over the harbour..breakfast in the pacific lounge was second to non with your own chef!
Champagne to drink between 5.30pm and 7.30pm with nibbles was so nice, a fridge in lounge with cornetos and magnums!! Free mini bar that was re stocked each day with what ever you wanted.
Lovely bath soaps etc that where re stocked twice a day. Turn down service on bed each night plus a little something left ont he bed ie a small pineapple snack, a lavender bag etc etc This was such a lovely touch.
They also did morning tea and cakes and afternoon tea with cakes and snack in the pacific lounge again all free.
There was a small reception area when you came out of the lift on the pacific floor and you where greated by your name each time. I was also invitied to the management cocktail evening which was a lovely suprise.
This was a fantastic stay.

Stayed here for 7 nights on a trip last year - my husband and I celebrated our Wedding anniversary whilst we were there and the staff really made it special for us.
On arrival we were collected from the airport by a chauffeur who took our luggage and everything!! When we checked intot he hotel we received in our room a bottle of chanpagne, a beautiful bunch of flowers ( roses and lillies), a chocolate handmade cake and a fresh fruit platter together with anniversary cards from the manmagement.
The hotel looked after us like royalty - we got everything we asked for and would reccommend this hotel to anyone but make sure you book with them direct.

The Pan Pacific in Singapore is a fabulous hotel, and very central to get out and about. It is classy and the rooms are very spacious, our only tiny complaint is that the hotel rooms are all off the huge atrium and on an evening the hotel has entertainment and the music is so loud, that said it stops at midnightish.
We stayed for 3 nights, only wish it had been longer
