The rooms were very basic and walls were paper thin. you could hear the people next door going to the loo.The rooms were cleaned daily and there were always clean towels. Food was beautiful and catered for everyone ,although my husband did find a hair in his dinner one evening. The snack bar at the pool served cold chips!! The hotel is situated on a bit of a hill steps 'steps and more steps. It was very dificult to catch a lift as there were only two and naughty children were constantly playing in them .What were their parents doing? even on the last day we had to carry our luggage down three flights of steps. The staff were lovely, friendly people who worked long hours. Did n't bother with the entertainment after the first night watching guests getting drunk and letting their children run mad.Couldn't get a lounger at the pool unless you got up at 7 o'clock .Won't be returning any time soon and regret not going to Salou.

Just got back from 2 brilliant weeks at the Playa Dorada. The food is of the highest standard with plenty of choice for all, chicken, beef, steak, pork and fresh fish served daily, salads and veg dishes for any vegans, and with a Full English breakfast ...that was yummy.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The bars are great, especialy the pool bar where the waiters are fab with kids and adults alike. All the hotel and pool areas are very clean with cleaners always on hand to clean up any mishaps.

The Rooms are cleaned daily and with clean towels, apart from Mondays. Their is always plenty of hot water, (none of this going cold at peak times).

The entertainment was varied and for all tastes, DON'T MISS the drag artists, their are hilarious, I nearly wet my self with laughter. The kiddies disco is lots of fun even for us adults.

we stayed in las floritas appartments in tenerife. the appartments from the outside looked a bit weired as it was in with reaturants and shops but as you go down some stairs it looks just like the brochure.which was a relief. it was in a good location, as it wasnt right in with all the clubs and bars ect so you didnt get all the noise at night/early morning.
the appartments were clean and we got a cleaner in three times over the week we stayed.
the rooms were very spacious and suitable for our needs.
i would recommend these appartments to the younger generation who want the livelyness near them and far enough away from the noise.
i would not recommend these appartment to the older generation as its more of a young persons place to stay as people like to sit up on their balconies at night till early hours drinking and talking but you cant really hear it unless they are being excessively loud but when you shut your balcony door it kind of silences that. the pool was good as it went all the way round the complex so there was no fighting for sunbeds or poolspace which was good. i would deffinatly go back to las floritas again as its only about 10 minutes away from everything.

We had a sixth floor bedroom which was cleaned every day, clean towels daily bed every other day, the hotel was clean and friendly throughout our stay, my only grievance was the lift service which got extremely busy at meal times.

The food was excellent something for everyone's taste, we did'nt bother with the entertainment as we preferred a drink on the terrace or leave the hotel for a drink then return later for a night cap.

We had a quiet room facing out to sea with a pretty few to the opposite side of the beach, we will be retuning in the future, a very restful place.

All inclusive is a must at this hotel, if you don't like the food in the restaurant you can fill up in the pool bar.

The rooms were kept very clean although they are very outdated, this was our 5th visit and everything is still the same. The really good thing is all the rooms have now been upgraded with air-conditioning which is a godsend.

Hotel staff are very friendly, will do anything to help Antonio in the top bar speaks perfect English and he has a wicked sense of humour.

The entertainment was non-existent in the day and in the evenings they have extended the kiddies entertainment until 10.00,which after a few nights is very repetitive.

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff were great and remembered us from 2 years ago and even the maids are friendly all the staff are not to be faulted at all and helpful at all times.

The rooms are cleaned every day but Tuesday and clean towels are given also the hotel locations is fab and straight onto the beach.

The food was better than the last time and there is always a good ranger of meat, fish etc and salads are always available. Chips every night and chicken nuggets etc for the kids.

The entertainment wasn't up to much this year but there is always Mister Cairos show-bar down the road where the drag show is a must, we went 3 times they were brilliant.

We would definitely go here again but we had a great family room with a huge balcony overlooking the sea and the beach.

The entertainment for little people is the usual kiddies disco but I had 2 13 yr olds and there is the Escape club 11-16 yr olds for these the reps who do this are great and there was a few tears when we said goodbye to Jennie and Danielle. They went bowling, beach parties and water fights and the reps were thrown in the pool most days they loved it.

We are just back from a weeks holiday, we stayed half board then upgraded to all inclusive for the last three days of our stay.we all had a great time. Room wasn't quite as expected we had booked a family room, but got a room with 2 double beds, not good when you have a 8yr old daughter and 13 yr old son!! Made a bed using a lilo. Did receive a refund for error as no other rooms available.

Only 2 small lifts for the size of the hotel, so lots of stairs to climb.

Hotel very very clean couldnt be faulted, housekeeping staff excellent. All staff friendly.

Food was great, lots of choice. Had a carvery every day except one, which Jay loved!

Location couldn't have been better, a few steps to the beach.

Towels on sunbeds, around the pool very very early, got very annoying!

Entertainment was ok, had a good beetles band on, but the abba band was dire! Would deffo reccomend this hotel as close to beach and no rowdy revellers about!

Hotel overall was very good - We were spoilt as we had a family room that overlooked the bay and beach area of the resort.

We had a couple of minor problems in the apartment which were quickly fixed by the staff, on both occasions within the hour! Room was on the 3rd floor which was didn't cause too many issues as the 2 lifts are often overcrowded or out of action. We did feel sorry for the folk who were on the floors above (Up to 8 floors)

The hotel was very clean and we would agree with most of the comments posted on the previous report.

The food was very typical of Spanish holidays, some of it better than others. On the whole it wasn't bad enough to moan about.

The staff were all very friendly and the kids entertainment was well pitched and more than adequate for our 11 & 4 year old girls.

We have previously stayed at the sister hotel in
Es Cana, which was also excellent.

Of particular note the hotel chain have 2 other hotels situated to the side of the Dorada, the Imperial & Club Playa which also looked v.nice.

Would recommend this hotel to friends and family and return in the future.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 week at the end of may.
First impressions were very good.

The hotel and rooms were very clean. The rooms are a bit outdated with old furniture but it was comfortable and as we only slept there it was good enough for us. The lifts seemed to break down everyday. This is a problem if you are on one of the top floors as it is quite a trek getting to you hotel room on the 6th floor after having 10 'special' sangrais

Our main complaint was the food at breakfast and evening meal. I am not a fussy eater but a lot of the food they served was not good. Because we were all inclusive we could go to the other food seving bars and order food from them without having to worry about money.

The food from the bars was top quality and there was a good selection. If you are on a half board basis you can upgrade to all inclusive for 20 euros per person per day which is good value if you eat and drink a lot. I recommend it just so you dont have to eat in the main resturant. If we had been there half board I would have been very dissapointed.

Hotel location was excellent in a very quite area right next to the beach. Very good for kids but not good for anyone with walking difficulties as there are a lot of steps to get to certain areas of the hotel.

There is also a life guard by the pool and security by the gates.
The staff were excellent. Always helpfull and polite.
The entertainment was ok but we didnt really take any notice of most of the acts as we prefered to sit outside on the patio.

The only other complaints I have is that the pool was too cold. Could do with some heating in it during the colder months. The sea was warmer than the pool so we decided to swim in that instead. Also there are 2 big pools but no inflatables were allowed in them. As soon as a lilo hit the water a security guard or life guard was there telling you to get it out. Bit disapointed in this as I like to float on a lilo in the pool but couldnt do it.

ALl in all a good holiday but would not return to this hotel because of the food. If that improved then I would be happy to go back.
