These front line apartments are situated between Figueretas & Playa d’en Bossa. There is a bus stop next to the apartments. There are 58 air conditioned rooms with satellite TV and telephone. Smoking rooms are available. The hotel features a swimming pool, 24 hour reception and a bar.

Paul and I visited this Apartment block in early September and it was our first time in Ibiza.

To get the cheapest possible option I booked the accommodation and flights separately. (I won't be doing this again!) We arrived at the Playa Sol 2 to check in but the receptionist could not speak any English. He called his girlfriend (who didn't work for the Hotel) and were told that we were not booked in this apartment block but were in fact booked into the Playa Sol 1 just over the road. This was at 6pm on a Monday evening!

We were also told that Internet companies over-allocate rooms all the time with this hotel chain (grupoplayasol)and that both accommodation was of the same standard and the same price. We knew this was not the case as we had read other reviews of both blocks and researched it. The Playa Sol 1 is in fact of a far lower standard (if that's possible!) and is
