I'm quite surprised that the other reviews aren't too bad. This was the worst place I've ever stayed.
On arrival at Monterray the first thing anyone said to us was "poor you" and it went down hill from there. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.
We spoke to at least 3 different people who had things stolen from their rooms, and the impression we got it that this is a regular occurrence there, and there were signs up everywhere about noise and being evicted etc - which I suppose is fair enough because there were 3am fights on balconies and folk screaming and shouting at night on a regular basis.
The walk from the apartments isn't the safest at night either, we got chased by some guy in a Jeep down the road that was really poorly lit and that was quite scary.
Ibiza was great and I would go back - I just wouldn't ever stay at Monterray again.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel as it had a lovely pool area with, bar, restaurant and was very clean. the food was nice and the staff were pleasant! The hotel rooms were very clean as well the maids were in every day to clean and change sheets.
Overall I think the only bad thing about this hotel was the path leading up to it on a night was very dark so you might want to get a taxi back depending on how many there is of you. There was me and my boyfriend and we walked a few times but I preffered to get a taxi.
I think I would definetly come back to this hotel!
