Location
The location was great, 5 steps from the pool area to the beach.
The food was typcially spanish ingredients, nothing like what we had in majorca previous years.Pizza was made on a slab and tasted bland. Give this a miss unless very cheap.

The food served was often cold/hot plates did not work for 75% of the time. The food was very limited in choice, we expect to eat as well as we do at home, but unfortunately we seemed to be filling up on bread and cheese for most of the week. The entertainment was none existent - seemed to depend upon the guests for most of the time.
Highlight of the week was a 20 minute parrot show on Saturday evening. F
or those who enjoyed unlimited drinks you could not fault the hotel, drink measures were extremely generous. However the bar shut down at 11.30pm (which was acceptable) but not the staff putting out the lights in both the bar area and the area overlooking the swimming pool.
We felt like young children being told to go to bed at 11.30pm. Consequently guests went to their bedrooms and partied there.
We certainly will not be going back to the Nautilus Hotel.

On arrival our wardrobe smelt terrible we moved rooms next morning. Then we met the cockerels from hell never realised they crow for 18 hours a day. The hotel walls are so thin noise travels and echoes.
The food was awful never 4 star rated more 2 star. Angel delight for dessert most nights unacceptable. Although you could make cheese sandwiches in the restaurant this did get tedious. snacks served through the day at the pool area, burgers and hot dogs cooked early in the day. We never saw them freshly cooked they stood for hours. The evening "snacks" served at 11pm were frozen ham sandwiches vile totally inedible.
The entertainment none existent.
the only good thing about the hotel the drinks flowed till 11.30pm but then we were treated like school children all the lights were switched off and bar areas closed at midnight. We were on holiday.

The hotel has not changed much since it's takeover by Grupo Playa Sol chain - apart from new furniture in the lobby!
Ruben and his wife Isabella (Animation) are no longer at the hotel and the new chap seems to be very quiet in comparison! What little entertainment we saw was unfortunately dire!! There was so much entertainment going on in the bay itself that we didn't spend nights at the hotel.
Rooms remain basic in their furniture, but are kept very clean. The 'Head Housekeeper' followed the maids each morning and inspected the rooms.
Again this year the pool area and the public areas of the hotel (including toilets), were always immaculate.
Food again is lacking in choice, but what there is is appetising.
For as little as 4Euros, you can have a full English breakfast at the 'Yorkshireman' and the restaurant directly opposite the Nautilus, does evening specials for 7.50Euros. We found that having a couple of meals out during the week broke up the cycle of buffet food, which, however much choice is available, can, by the very nature of it, become repetitive.
Unfortunately, we had an evening when the water ran cold and the following day the water packed in completely. As far as I am concerned this was through no fault of the hotel as the bars down the road were also without water.
However, the British contingent at the hotel (and they were in the majority this year), took it upon themselves to complain in a loud, rude and intimidating manner to the reception staff. This culminated in a large number of guests being moved to the newly refurbished hotel San Remo, just down the road. I have to say I was quite disgusted with the 'pack mentality' of some of the guests who weren't prepared to allow for an event outside of the hotels control. Luckily, our party found the water issue to be quite funny and it didn't detract from the wonderful time we all had again this year.
We would definitely visit this hotel again, mainly for its excellent location and safe, friendly atmosphere both at the hotel and in the bay itself.

The rooms are kept fairly clean.
The food isn't bad (although I would have liked to see more fresh fruit available).
I can't knock the location, it's right on the beach which was lovely in the evening when sitting out on the terrace with a drink in hand.
The staff had their moments; I found the people clearing tables in the restaurant lovely, always happy and made a fuss of our little boy, the bar staff however never seemed as happy to help.
We're not really interested in the entertainment but some of it seemed really quite dire - other people seemed to be enjoying it so it could be a matter of taste!
Overall, it's not a bad hotel if all you're expecting is 2*-3*. Really needs updated ratings.

The food was basic and wasnt much option for the kids as we were told.
Location was right on the (small) beach but if you have a room on the left hand side then you will be greeted by huge amount of chicken and cockrills crowing all day a night
Staff were ok
Entertainment was ********************
The decor was very old and dirty in places.
The brochure and adverts were very cleverly put across but cameras can do magic things.
I would not rate this hotel at 4 stars. I would say 2 stars is a better score.

The food was okay, the rooms were very basic and the enertainment was terrible what we saw.
This is not a 4* Hotel at best it is a 2/3* But it is loctaed on the beach and in a quiet part of town. The hotel was in need of a comment re-decoration both inside and out!

Cleanliness of the hotel has been maintained and the food, although still limited in choice, is more than adequate and appealing.
Entertainment was lacking in the hotel this year, a parrot show and Brazilian dancers, and bingo in various languages. However, there is much to keep you occupied in the evenings right outside the hotel.
Sit and watch the sunset from the hotel terrace with a cool drink, and chill out to the atmosphere of Ibiza!
Would most definitely return to this hotel.

We stayed in the San Remo this time also Italian owned now and it was terrible.
Met up with people from the Mautilus and heard some horror stories, the moral of this story is stay away from hotels owned by Italian holiday companies, they are not very good.
