Rooms with sea view or road view. We were quite happy in our roadside room but bay view must be best. Variable meal times. Good buffet choice.

We tended not to stay in the complex during the night but ventured onto the main stretch. Food was very good. Try the Boucala restaurant. Friendly and the service was excellent. The food was very good and reasonable in price. There was plenty for the children to do, and again reasonably priced. Ten pin bowling, mini golf, trampolines, etc. Paddys bar was a fun irish bar which we visited most evenings. Shopping was ok.Some spar shops open 24hrs. We travelled on a small boat to Calla Bassa. Great for water sports, Diving off cliffs and the beach area 100%, sandy and blue. Brilliant

The beaches in san antonio bay are excellent with plenty to do on them with pedalos and other water activities there is also nice beach bars and the local seafood is excellent at these. I have been to this resort about eight times and I would definitely be going back next year. The entertainment is also probably the best on the island.

The resort was a good location but there wasnt that much to do. All you had to do was cross the sea on the little taxi boat or walk round the bay into San Antonio town where there was much more to do.

The location couldn't be better as your right on the beach and close all the pubs, bars, restaurants and shops. The streets are always clean, the only problem being that light sleepers could get woken up by the cleaning men in their trucks who seem to start work around 4.30am, but you can't fault the cleanliness of the place they do a very good job and the streets are cleaner than anywhere I have ever seen in the UK.

There is something for everyone entertainment wise, there are loads of bars and restaurants and the standard of food was good and reasonably priced. There is also a fair bit for the kids to do so they shouldn't get bored. One restaurant even offered to look after your kids in a crech whilst you enjoyed your meal, how cool is that.

The Beach was great, if not very big, it was fairly clean and the sun loungers and parasols not badly priced at 4 euros each for the entire day. You also get guys selling fresh fruit which was a real treat and again fairly priced.

The only thing that really bugged me was the guys trying to sell you so called 'cheap watches & sunglasses' these guys seem to be everywhere and think nothing of disturing you while you are trying to sunbathe or have a meal in a restaurant, but I guess they are just trying to make a living, and at least they do take no for an answer and there is no hard sell, they don't make you feel intimidated, I just found it anoying.

The resort was really good. One of the pubs even played the Celtic game.

All the restaurants we ate in were really fine and we always got free shot.

The fake leather goods were nice as well.

San Antonio and the bay have changed over the years, it used to have a craft market every evening and lots of fun things to do, not now. It was so boring.

The beach was okay and it was fun to see all the geckos but that was about the best fun all week.

This year certainly put me off my former dream destination.

Stick to Santa Eulalia, it's much nicer.

San antonio bay is a separate resort to san antonio town.
We found it to be fairly clean with a wide selection of bars and restaurants with something to do for everybody. Was nice to go along the street without being hassled by touts. If you want to go to a nice beach then cala bassa is only up the road and is one of the nicest and cleanest beaches I have ever visited.. I love ibiza and I love San Antonio Bay. Would definately go back

The resort was just right, plenty to do both day and night, not too noisey but not dead either.

Beach was very clean and the fish was lovely to see quite close to the shore

The resort was very clean and if people thought not then maybe its us tourists that are to blame!

There are bins everywhere and early EACH morning the refuse company collected rubbish from hotels, large wheeled bins and mini-bins from the area.

There is so much going on in/around the resort. But I like being nearer(as kids start to fall asleep).
Probably the longest/latest night out we ever had was to see the sunset on the other side of the bay-San Antonio Town (outside the Cafe Del Mar).

Its a cheap boat ride to the other side of the bay or a long but lovely walk. My only problem was that in Oct 2004 everything was closing down for the end of the season and we had to walk back with 4 tired kids as the taxi "ferries" stopped at a certain time(I'm sure this will not be the case in Aug 05).

The beaches were great (inc the small one in front of Belle Playa Hotel which had a minor whiff of sewers from the Belle Player Hotel itself!!)

If you are not tempted in going after this then I hope this changes your mind. I will be on my 3rd year there this August so thats a good review in itself. Actions speak louder than words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
