Hotel is situated in the San Antonio Bay area with a few shops and bars within a few 100 meters, give BAR-ME a try run by Janette ,Warren and Caz this local bar is used by expats a very friendly crowd they are very welcoming. If turning right or left with a short walk more bars etc can be found, also Peppermint Cafe is good for late night food this is left as you come out of the hotel and The Pint pot cafe bar straight on the beach can be got to from hotel beach.
The Hotel has a swimming pool although not large, crazy golf, tennis courts, internet. There is an entertainment program in the daytime and at night shows (but did not see these).
This hotel is not disabled friendly for wheelchairs or ones with walking problems, as to get to the food area it is down 3 steps to a first level dinning seating area and another 3 steps to the self-serve buffet area where you select the food you require and no helpful hand rails. Plus these stairs are very narrow and busy as these are the most used, but with a few adjustments could make this hotel perfect for wheel chairs.
The food is mostly on a continental style with salads, chips, various hot dishes and the chef can be seen cooking meats, there is also an area for eating out doors looking over the Bay to San Antonio, lovely for breakfast, which is not full English. It’s not the best food I have had but I found there was always something to eat I liked.
The rooms are basic but comfortable with on suite bath shower room with a power socket for shavers, also there were 3 sockets in the room. You can hire a safe but to be honest it was very small just enough room for travel docs money, I would say 3 inch deep by 12 inch wide so more like a letter box shape, so won’t hold camera.

The hotel is half board or breakfast only. Although the hotel was kept clean it was very dated and could have done with refurbishment and a good lick of paint. Breakfast served 8am to 10am and was of poor quality. The food was usually cold, greasy and repetetive.
Dinner was served 730pm untill 930pm and was just as uninviting as the breakfast. There was often items recycled from the morning. One instance was poor quality sausage for breakfast and a very strange sausage and tomato salad in the evening (obviously the same sausage).
However there was free wine with the evening meal which was fine.
Location of the hotel was good, right next to the beach, close to all amenities and plenty of bars and restaurants closeby.
The hotel cleaners all seemed very cheery and would always say hello. This was not the case for the rest of the staff who were the complete opposite.
The entertainment was very poor and only catered for German or Spanish residents.
Although the main pool was clean and quite nice the childrens pool was dated and unclean. The childrens park was dangerous and poorly maintained. The minigolf was poorly maintained and I never saw anybody use it in the hole fortnight.
The tennis courts looked ok.
I would only revisit the hotel if it was free!!!

My wife and I travelled to this hotel independently booking all aspects of the holiday directly with Med Hotels. The journey both ways went well and we arrived at els Pins Hotel fresh and relaxed.
The hotel although only rated 3 star. Stands well back from the public highway and is surrounded by well kept landscaped gardens. Included in the garden area is a large very clean swimming pool with large sun terrace with adequate loungers and canopies. This doubled as the evening entertainment area.
In addition we found a childrens play area apart from the main pool area that was complete with a childrens club house lots of play equipment and its own mini swimming pool. To complete external delights of thi garden there are 2 tennis courts, a well kept 9 hole crazy golf course. a pool table and finally a table tennis table. All this is linked via a short flight of steps to the delightfully secluded private beach.
The garden and beach alone are reason enough to visit this hotel. The hotel itself is very welcoming with a nice reception area with easy access to the lounge, the bar, the dining room with its open air beachside dining terrace and the beach itself. On the beach can be found a bar open from 11am until 4pm at which you can take lunch at a very reasonable cost.
The accommodation is reached via stairs or lifts from the reception area. We occupied a 1st floor room overlooking the sea and beach, with wonderfull views across the bay to San Antoni. Our bedroom was well furnished with twin beds a full bathroom and a large balcony.
The hotel generally is well maintained, and kept very clean by a friendly group staff
The quality and quantity of food served in the dining room was good enough to satisfy anyone. We have travelled widely in our lives and both my wife and I agree, that we shall return to the els Club Pins.
