We flew by Easyjet from Luton to Ibiza and booked the Hotel Marfil by researching highly recommended hotels via various hotel review websites. The Hotel Marfil was highly recommended and lived up to its reputation for cleanliness and helpful and welcoming staff.
Our room was comfortable and in excellent condition. There were twin beds, a TV with lots of channels including English ones, good lighting, dressing table, good blackout curtains (if you want a lie-in!), wardrobe with a safe. The bathroom was spotless with bath, shower, loo and bidet. The towels were fresh and in good condition too.
From the outside the Hotel Marfil is nothing special. We arrived at night and it looked like it was in a dingy road off the beaten track. In the daylight this was not the case. It's in a tidy area and a fairly bustling road with various shops nearby. There's a small supermarket and a laundry next door. There's a free car park a couple of roads (5 mins walk) away, meter parking opposite and a free parking road behind. Inside it's comfortable, modern and clean. Staff speak English and are knowledgable and friendly. There is a computer with free internet access in reception and a few chairs, sofas, etc. They sell drinks from reception but it's not a proper bar as such.
Breakfast is served until 12pm. There is an adequate range of foods including cereals, cheese, salami, ham, jams, croissants, pain au chocolat, fresh and dried nuts and fruits, yoghurts, hot drinks, juice, milk.
We used this hotel as a base for touring the island (which we did in virtually a day! I wouldn't say this hotel is suitable for children as there is no pool or garden but it is is a short walking distance of the club night life and harbour (a 10 minute slowish stroll away from both).
The best car hire deal by far was with Auriga Crown (the first window when you come into baggage collection at the airport).
We ate at the Tijuna Tex Mex restaurant directly opposite the hotel (good food and service), a typical Ibizan restaurant round the corner 1 minute walk) - reception will tell you where it is - (excellent food and service again) and the Can Cous - a restaurant about 20 mins drive from Sant Antonio which serves organic, homemade food (good food and service). A typical 2 course meal with a couple of beers was around

Hi, we have stayed at the Hotel Marfil yearly since we discovered it 5 years ago. We have been going to Ibiza every July since 1993, and have tried many different hotels, but as soon as we came across Marfil, there was no way we were ever going anywhere else! It is mid priced (about
