The Viva Golf is situated at the Port end of Alcudia which is a bit quieter although still has a good atmosphere at night with lots of bars and restaurants.
The hotel is lovely, not too big but has a nice pool and lots of sunloungers, which we found not many people put towels on! English were in a minority but that didn't pose any problems at all as the staff spoke excellent English.
Courteous and friendly staff on reception and bars/restaurant.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the balconies are a good size. We had bed, breakfast and evening meal and the food was wonderful. No queuing at the buffets either as a lot of guests seemed to have only bed and breakfast or self-catered as there are facilities in the room for basic catering. We found it very convenient to have a fridge for keeping drinks cold. It was also nice to be able to make a coffee at night.
Would recommend this hotel although it doesn't seem to cater for young children very much.
