What a fantastic hotel, I loved every minute. The food is excellent, I truly believe this is worthy of a 4* hotel. Plenty of choice, food freshly cooked, choice of meats from the chef carving in front of you.
The rooms are spacious and beds really comfy. The breakfast was excellent, big cooked breakfast every day and toast and jam.
The staff are excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - would I return? YES I LOVE this hotel. One tip - book 10 days and a sea view room - 7 days is not enough, it went too quick for me.

I am glad to see that Holiday Truths have now included this hotel for people to post reviews on. This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in and is run extremely well. The food was good, if at times not always hot. The choices were excellent and plenty of choice for even the most picky people. The location is second to none, but make sure you ask for a sea view as the views over the harbour are wonderful. The hotel staff cannot be faulted at all, very helpful, cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel's entertainment lacked a bit of oomph, it was quite basic. Would certainly visit this hotel again.

The Catalonia Consul is in a brilliant location overlooking the harbour and close to the bars and shops in Cala Bona.
We had a room in the building behind, overlooking the pool. The room was small and very basic and the bathroom was tiny. On arrival, two light bulbs needed replacing and we had no towels. The air-conditioning was totally ineffective
