We stayed at the Moreyo from 25th May to 1st June, & what a lovely small hotel this is. Please don't let the one star put you off, this was a special occasion holiday for us, as after eighteen years wed we were going to retake our wedding vows in Majorca. I mentioned this to the hotel in an email & on arrivel there was flowers & bottle of red wine in our room, a very nice touch.
The room & the hotel & pool was very very clean, the cleaners where in our room evey day. Rooms also a good size & lovely bathroom.
Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, evening meals where ok, but for what you pay you just can't complain, but in general we prefered to go to one of the harbour restaurants.
Can't beat the hotels location right in Cala Bona, the staff where lovely, broken English yes, but they booked taxis for us, chatted etc etc & always pleasant in our way in & out of the hotel, in general this hotel is how we like them, small & friendly

When we arrived they seemed not to have heard of us, but we ended up in a very spacious triple room on the top floor.
It was extremely clean, with a balcony overlooking the pool - and with a bit of a stretch we could see the sea between a building and a tree in front of us, and to the side between two buildings!
The breakfast was always good there, although dinner could be a bit hit and miss, there was always something we could eat.
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, although sometimes the language barrier was a bit hard to bridge.
The pool, although on the small side, was fine for what we wanted, and there were certainly enough sunbeds/chairs/tables to sit round it.
Altogether we thought this was a very nice hotel, and I'm sure going up the three flights of stairs a couple of times a day helped keep us fit!

Just returned from the Moreyo. I had stayed before but out of season and without my family. If anything this hotel had improved. It was fully staffed (during my last visit some of the staff had left for the season)and again spotlessly clean. I was with a very mixed age range this time and was a little apprehensive about keeping everyone happy but needn't have worried. My mum and aunt (67 and 70 years) loved the individual attention as did my 10 year old niece and daughters aged 13 and 16.
The pool was thoroughly cleaned every night and the paddling pool ideal for my non-swimming aunt to cool off in. There was no getting up early to bag a sunbed. Always plenty of space with a choice of shade and sun.
My room was perfect, not enormous but roomy, the shower was great, easy to adjust and powerful. Any problems or queries are immediately dealt with by Maribel and Carolina at reception.
The food was very good with plenty of fresh fruit both at breakfast and evening meal. All in all, excellent value for money and we all want to return.

The location of this hotel is excellent - right next to Cala Bona beach (opposite the Hotel Sur).
I stayed half board in October and although I only gave the food a 2 rating - this is because it is more geared toward the continental palate, I always found something on the menu I liked.
My room was extremely clean as was all the public areas. There is a small swimming pool and sunbathing area. The hotel is family run and I found them and their staff very welcoming, especially if you are prepared to try a little Spanish.
Although there is no entertainment in this hotel, I found the bar very pleasant (it is a pavement bar) open to everyone. It was very quiet in October but I did visit the hotel bar area in July (I was staying elsewhere then) when the hotel was much busier and appeared popular with young 'backpackers' as well as families. There is no entertainment provided but the Hotel Sur (directly opposite) does have an entertainment programme which goes on until about midnight - maybe slighly later in peak season - this is either a bonus or drawback depending on what you want.
The only problem I could see was the lack of a lift, meaning it may be unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems.
Overall, I think the hotel provides good value for money and is particularly suited to the independent traveller who wants a clean, comfortable base (I would not recommend it to anyone wanting an 18-30 style holiday).
I have booked to return again, this time with my family.
