An OK resort, quite picturesque. A couple of nice restaurants and bars. Quite quiet and certainly not for those who want to party to the small hours.

While we visited the resort celebrated 'tourist day' on 24th Sept. Women passed out flowers during the day and there was a live concert and fireworks in the evening [lovely as it coincided with my birthday].
The area was clean though some beaches were smelly due to the abundance of sea-weed.

Cala Bona is a very quiet resort ideal for families and older people, not a resort for youngsters wanting loud night life all night, you wont find it there in Cale Bona.
I thought the resort was lovely, plenty off shops, bars, restaurants, nice beach bit smelly though, better going to Cala Millor for the better beach.
The resort also had plenty of hotels around, check the Alicia hotel out very nice, not for kids though too posh.

It is such a lovely place to stay. It is so peaceful and lovely to go for a walk to the harbour and enjoy a drink. Our two weeks went so quick and we now look back to returning next year.

We found the resort to be very clean. Nightlife was fairy low key mostly bars and restaurants along the beach front or around the harbour but for the younger generation a 10 minute walk to Cala Millor would provide them with all the livelier bars to keep them happy. The beach was clean and fairly busy.

The thing I like best about Cala Bona and Cala Millor is that it's flat so walking with kids isn't a problem - no hills to climb etc.
There's a lot of British eateries so if you're like me and a very fussy eater you won't starve ;o) but if you want local food then there's plenty of choice too. Our favourite haunt was CHEERS in Cala Millor - about a 10 minute walk away - a warm welcome and fantastic food awaits you!
We stayed in Cala Bona in 1999, 2002 and have just returned from 2 weeks of glorious sunshine and I have to say that Cala Bona is looking a wee bit tired in my opinion, some footpaths are in a very poor state and quite dangerous in some places - altho' these tended to be in side streets as opposed to the main promenade.
In addition the area past the harbour has small railings (to stop you falling in the sea) but these have become very badly corroded and seem to be hanging on by a whisper.
It seems to me, very sad that they have let it go this way, I think it's about time more money was spent on freshening it up so that it continues to be a thriving popular holiday resort.
Hopefully when we return again in 2006 we'll see some improvements

Lovely resort, all lit up at night. Quaint sea front bars and restaurants.

Cala Bona is a small resort, it has a beautiful harbour with cafes ect looking out to sea. Great in the evenings. The beach at Cala Bona is not very clean but Callor millor is only a twenty minute walk or a few minutes on the bus. Cala millor is more like your average resort with all the facilities. Cala Bona is a predominantly with German visitors. Nightlife is around the hotels or the harbour. Not for young adults. Cala Bona is best for couples who like to soak up the sun and have a romantic meal at the harbour

The resort of Cala Bona is fantastic! You can't help but notice how clean it is.There's not one piece of rubbish around.
The resort entertainment is good too! There is a good/big town in Cala Millor which is practically right beside it.It has plenty of shops selling a great variety of goods!Cala Bona has a huge supermarket.
The beach was lovely too and also very clean!
I would certainly go back sometime soon because it was just brilliant!
