Excellent!!!!! (A 3rd block is currently under construction on the waste ground at the rear of the 2nd block, will this cause to hotel to improve or be swamped out? Time no doubt time will tell.

This is a fantastic hotel that i have been recommending to all my friends since my return. This was my first visit and since returing only 3 days ago I have booked to go next May with my partner.

The food is really good with a selection adn choice for all tastes.Certain food at breakfast and dinner is cooked right in front of you,and is repeished at all times,so even if you go to eat at the end of a sitting there is the same selection as if you had gone in when they first opened.

You are located on the outskirts of the resort but is a pleasant walk to one of the 3 beaches or a 5 min walk to the marina.A room over looking the pool is the best as there are no sea views.

Hotel staffand cleaners were very polite and helpful at all times.

We only wnet down one evening for the adult entertainment which was very good.It was a rod Stewart sing a like who was very much like the real rod!!!.
There was childrens early evening entertainment every eve.

I'm already counting down the 8 months till my next visit.

The hotel was immaculate, well maintained and kept very clean. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need. The balconies are large and most have two access points, one from the lounge area and one from the bedroom. This is great if you want to spend some time out on the balcony in the evening without disturbing sleeping kids in the other room. The pool is really nice and there's a heated indoor one for use in low season too.

The food was generally very good with plenty of choice for adults and kids. Entertainment is the usual stuff in this sort of place - nothing special but the entertainment people work very hard day and night and the kids were happy enough.

The staff were reasonably friendly and very efficient.

A couple of downsides. The 'gym' is not very well equipped. Just a few cardio pieces and one resistance machine, all of which have seen better days, which was a surprise in a nearly new and otherwise immaculate hotel like this. The hotel location is good overall, but although on the edge of the resort, it is on the junction of a couple of busy roads and close to a few busy restaurants/clubs. As such, depending on the location of your room, you can get quite a bit of noise at night. If this bothers you, you will be better off asking for a room either overlooking the pool, or in the block that overlooks some wasteland (not a great view, but quieter !)

Also, there is limited space for sun loungers by the pool. This wasn't a problem the first week we stayed as this was outside the school holidays. The second week got much busier though so be prepared to reserve your lounger early and 'enjoy' the sounds of lots of boistrous kids if you go during school holidays.

These are minor gripes however. Overall, it's a really nice, good quality place to stay and we would definitely consider going back.

The apartments were excellent with digitally controlled air conditioning so room temperature was perfect. Kitchen area had fridge, toaster, kettle and a couple of rings to warm things up. Main room had a dining table and two long sofas which converted to beds with a TV showing a mixture of language channels, the English speaking being Sky News and CNN. There was also a music channel. You had access to a good size balcony from both the bedroom and the living room. Table and comfortable chairs were also provided here. The balconies are designed to be quite personal so you are not obliged to chat with your neighbour!

Rooms are located around three sides of the complex with half having a pool view and the other the streets or wasteland as it is the final hotel coming out of Cala D'Or. Despite this you are still fantastically located for the centre of the town.

The pool was lovely, quite large with a fountain and there is a small circular pool for young children. There is limited sun bed availability because of space constraints around the pool and this did cause a couple of arguments between guests as they looked to reserve their places! You can locate other sunloungers within the grounds, away from the pool and there were always plenty avaialable. These were near a small childrens playground. Evening entertainment was held in the main bar in the basement area located to the restaurant. The entertainments team were extremely pleasant and enthusiastic. During the day there would be cocktail games around the pool as well as water polo every day at 4.00pm. Beware, if you are located around that end of the pool be prepared to defend yourself from the ball as shots go astray. I played a few times but some people took it very seriously, which does not suit all. The team also ran the kids club for 4 year olds and up but I should think that if your kids are over eight they will not find much of interest within this group. Apart from the kids disco in an evening every other night they would have outside entertainment, flamenco dancers, magician etc and on the others the entertainments team would do their best to mime through a show, Grease etc.

The staff were extremely efficient, from cleaners to bar to reception. It was a really pleasant environment to holiday in. Highly recommended.
